- Transformers, in the Marvel Comic Continuity, introduced Straxus in issue 17 and he was one vile Decepticon! However, we didn’t get a toy of this Autobot melting menace for years and this new version is actually the definitive version! Captain Kyle reviews this comic-inspired figure to see if it's good enough for your collection.
Lord Straxus ruled his forces on Cybertron with cruelty and fear. But he was into recycling, as he liked to melt down his foes and reuse their metal. How environmentally minded he was! While there have been other versions of this character, this is the closest one to his comic appearance. Captain Kyle reviews this figure to see how it might fit into your Decepticon forces.

If Hasbro wants to get into the comics, they should jump to issue number 50 and give us a titan class underbase starscream
Kinda suprised how comic Soundwave and Blaster has not been announce yet.
I'd like a hook, line, and sinker three pack
Definitely one of my fave decepticons from the old school comics. I remember my young mind back in the days was quite terrified of him. Some scenes, especially with Scrounge, were pretty brutal for those days. This guy just breathes evil, and I like it. One I sure hope to get into my own collection soon 😊
Totally agree
Ive only seen the comics for this one they finally made the figure tho?
I want to meet Logan, I bet he’d be fun to hang out with 😂
Hi Captain Locked and Loaded!
great video. i love this figure!! his Decepticon logo in on his forehead. also he has wheels like Galvatron too. his paint job is cool too. painted comicy but not so much that he looks bad lol all in all great figure.
I still hope for a Titan Spanner/Spacebridge from the smelting pool but I'm afraid that will not happen
I already ordered him.
I will have mine sec fav transformers in display yesss.
I like his classic comicbook sci-fi savage face. He looks pretty mean.
The issues he was in came out in July and August of 1986. Around the time of the movie (09 August 1986) So, they probably used Galvatron’s alt mode design.
Though generally, the comic is written, drawn, inked, etc., months before it hits the rack. Unless Bob got a preview. And the movie production takes even longer. It's likely a very strange coincidence.
Awesome review! No fault of yours, of course, but I would have preferred him to be more comic accurate in colors and also to have a Decepticon insignia. Thanks for sharing him with us! 😊
He does have the insignia. It's just on his head.
Bro heel spurs....lol
