I like android and apple for different things but I have found myself reaching for my android more when I want to do something. Also when my mac went in for servicing, I plugged my android into the usb dongle at my workspace and Samsung Dex came up on the monitor which I forgot was a thing. Display, Keyboard and mouse support with a desktop-like interface...That made my wait so much more tolerable

The normal 15s would stay at USB 2.0 speeds. But as you may know it, Apple usually trickles down Pro features to normal iPhones a year later, for example: the 15 Pro would get Thunderbolt 3, but the normal iPhones get barebones USB 2.0 USB-C ports. Then the normal 16 models get Thunderbolt 3, but the 16 Pros would get Thunderbolt 4, so on and so forth.

I transfer all i need from my iPhone to my PC using wireless connection via an app that essentially makes my iPhone a "server" that has all the files on that i can access from my PC inside my network. And app is also free. Like whats the problem?
what confused the most out of me is that all the app settings are no in the app itself its in the phone settings android isn't like that and Windows isnt either that how the app settings should be in the app itself not the in the phone settings another thing thunderbolt really sound travels slower than light
I hope that the pro models get the USB-C port, but as someone who hasn't plugged my phone in for years, just give me a portless iPhone already. That way I don't need to worry about the case having a plug for the port or not. So USB-C for the pro model, portless for the other models.
I think thunderbolt is a good idea, obviously but i would still have one lightning iPhone transferring footage in addition to the thunderbolt. I shoot with two iPhones so one would have fast transfer speeds, and the other one would have slow.

Although I use an iPhone 14 pro, I can say that ever since iOS 7 release, you have to wait for certain animations to be done before you can proceed with your next finger navigation. iOS 6 and lower you can literally touch anywhere and complete a gesture as fast as you can move and tap your finger. It’s not something most normal users see.
I don't think he's just referring to the animations. It's also about the steps needed to accomplish something which is something Android has always excelled at compared to iOS, though now the margin has become smaller but previously Android used to be leaps and bounds ahead of iOS.
I 100% agree with Lew, I can do the MacBook, I love my iPad, but I have to carry an Android phone (Pixel 7 Pro currently). I just can't like the iPhone no matter how hard I try. It just sits on my desk and I only use it for testing for my job.
I left iPhone after COVID. Not being able to use my mask for Samsung with the indisplay finger print reader. There are no large black borders around my screen. I hated face ID and the notch anyway. What shocked me the most was how much better the Samsung Android OS is compared to IOS. I have a like new XS MAX as a back up. Some times I try to use it for a day and badly miss my Samsung. I am not sure what Apple can do at this point to get me back full time to an iPhone. IPhones are heavy and thick. My S21 Ultra is perfect.
At this point with the prores and using the iPhoneas alternativeto cameras in some professional cases, it's very useful to as sd card slot to the phone

Now ive been using the 13pro and I have been using this for 7 months and I’ve had 2 lighting cables already. For some reason the one that came free with my phone just didnt last that long. Ive had to buy an anker cable. Now you may call it anecdotal evidence and does not reflect all lighting port/cables at all but I can provide pictures of my old cables. Can you provide photos of you type C cable ruined by a speck of dust though. Or you’re just lying to discredit a port/cable. Imagine that lowering yourself for a port/cable

iPhone 13 mini is my current and last phone. I’ll use it until I can replace it with just a smart watch. Maybe I’ll have a tablet. Phone format sucks
