Remmebring Michael Adams

Michael Lynn Adams, age 78, of Valley Center, California, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024. Mike was a beloved husband to his wife Eileen of 55 years and cherished his entire family, including his children and grandchildren.
Mike's love for his country was evident through his service as a Junior Lieutenant Officer in the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. His professional career spanned over two decades at the City of Escondido Public Works Department. With two master's degrees in Science in Engineering, Mike also served as the Public Works Director for the City of Flagstaff, AZ, before rejoining the City of Escondido as the Assistant City Manager.
His dedication to his community extended beyond his professional life. Mike faithfully served as the Church Administrator for Valley Center Community Church and a Deacon. He was also appointed to the Valley Center/Pauma Unified School District Board and served on the Board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In addition to his professional and community service, Mike had a passion for painting portraits of people and friends. He found joy in family-centric meals and reunions. He was known for his selfless acts of service and his love for life and people.
The community deeply loved Mike and will be missed by all who knew him. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this loss. His legacy of service and dedication will be remembered fondly.
