If this isn't coming to U.S.,then I'm really irritated that I got lured in2 watching this,& got so excited by the possibility of soon being able 2 get a truck described like the type I want,especially that sounded so affordable..This really just raised my hopes,only 2 feel extremely let down. Have I just become a victim of a cruel trick? Lured in & enticed by a pic.w/description,only 2 realize too l8 that the title may a bit misleading/deceptive by leaving out the fact that it prob.won't be available world-wide. I guess it's just a more upsetting let down 2 me since I'm currently in the market specifically looking 4 a small to mid size truck like this,& have been looking/trying 2 decide btwn: Ford Maverick,Honda Ridgeline,Nissan Frontier,& lastly my fav.,Hyundai Santa Cruz(mainly as far as it's looks,size,plenty of good features,& fairly affordable price).Only prob.w/the S.C.is I can't decide if it meets my standards 4 reliability & potential max mileage/whether it can last over 250k b4 it starts costing 2 much in repairs/starts 2 have engine &/or other costly serious probs.

How about a 6.5 ft bed for camping and light hauling.if you can make it under $20,000 out the door,I’d be happy and still keep the quality up, and make it simple. We don’t need all the hi tech.make the interior minimal but nice.a simple LCD screen with all the info the truck needs, GPS, FM stereo, speed, odometer, battery, engine oil, gas levels and so on. Go back to the basics like roll down windows key in a lock yes the old fashioned way to cut costs. You only have 2 doors if is an extended cab or regular. Have trim levels that will appeal to the consumer.
Really? 6.5’ bed? It would look totally out of proportion. This is a tiny truck very close to the prior version in size. How else could Subaru price it at 10k. There’s no way dude.
Subarus cheapest models currently is already over 20k… there is absolutely no way this will be 10k with the chicken tax and everything else.
Good looking little truck but…what is missing? For $10,000 it’s going to be doing good to have a steering wheel. The price and truck will probably only be available in Japan.

Subaru and Toyota have worked together before. If the Sub is designed for the sport market and the Toy is more city utilitarian, then the colab will have them targeting different segments of the small truck market. Also it would allow both companies to save money on production cost, so they can beat the mavericks entry price, even if they are unable to reach the $10,000 goal. Which is actually unrealistic.
20k will be great here in USA
If they put a plant here in the USA, they should be able to sell it at $10,000. I'm not sure about how much dealers would mark it up, but if it's selling like hotcakes, you may need to cough up $12,000 to get one new. I'd probably wait a year or two for a gently used one at $7k-$8k.

The elephant in the room is always that all the damned Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Toyota Hailux, Ww Amark and all the other small Pickups are that their cabins are not big enough and therefore the cars are WAY too expensive because they are simply useless as family cars. The cars cost the same as SUV cars and are also more expensive than SUV cars, but you only get half a car compared to the SUVs. There is simply too little legroom in the back seat and the cars are also too narrow. A man of 183cm cannot sit comfortably in the back seat of any of those pickups because there is NO LEG ROOM. So what the hell are we paying for when we can't have our 17 year old sons and daughters sitting in the back seat. THE CABINS ARE TOO SMALL AND WE GET TOO LITTLE CARS FOR THE PRICES OF THE CARS. Why isn't anyone talking about the damn problem with the small cabins. No legroom equals the fact that the cars cannot be used for families with children aged 15. Too little legroom.
On what planet will they introduce this at 10K. Won't be here on planet earth.
