Since season 1 episode 1, Hinata was always a "new player." He had talent, he had instinct, but in a sense he was always new. In season 1, he learned the shut eyes quick spike. Season 2, he learns how to keep his eyes open, use his body, choose a course and a better quick spike. Season 3, he learns (albeit not as much) how to block. Using a running start to reach a higher peak when blocking. But in 3 seasons, he never learned how the basics of being a volleyball player, he never learned how to receive and pass. This episode, after the constant trials placed upon him in not only season 4 but since the very beginning, he sinks a little deeper into this beautiful game. Great episode, great reaction and excuse me while I go wipe my tears and blow my nose for the 50th time
in season 1 he learnt how to get to the top, in season 2 he learnt how to fight at the top, in season 3 he learnt how to apply his technique and in season 4 he learnt how to fight on the ground
Fun little fact about the production side of this episode. The director of this episode masako sato returned to do this episode and she was the same director who worked on the episode where tsukishima blocks ushijima
That whole sequence starting from Atsumu setting to Osamu and Osamu setting to Aran and Hinata digging the ball just gives me the same chills and makes me tear up whether I watch the episode itself or I watch a footage from other people's reaction vid. It's just that good and heart warming knowing Hinata's setbacks before reaching that moment :'))
That Hinata save, has the same energy as Tsukishima's Ushijima block. Tsukishima came out of his shell and it took almost 2 and a half seasons of buildup... and this feels very much the same. He sucked at receives so much initially, and we can truly see how far he has come, especially since the 1st year of boot camp. Also, that coach who was watching the national was indeed who was conducting the "First-Year Selective Training Camp ". That is Johzenji's coach.
@@victorsales1136 i always forget which number episode this moment is but i know the name of the soundtrack of that moment is Piton or Pitons whatever it's called so when he said it I was like AHH SHIT I WASN'T READY
FYI Pitons are the things that climbers stick on a crack in the rock to help them climb. They should a piton when the coach is talking about how Hinata's receive wasn't luck, but the product of hard work. the "foothold" thing that is the piton.
Istg one of the greatest aspects that I like about Haikyuu is the team banner-Haruichi Furudate (the mangaka) always manage to perfectly seam the banner with the team, even more so with Inarizaki's. I think I love Inarizaki's the most along with Kamomedai's (Hoshiumi's team), though Karasuno's 'Fly' makes me tear up (especially with that one manga panel)
My man really just said last episode that it always makes him nervous when the ball catches up in the net and here we see why that nervousness makes really sense when Karasuno lost the rally when the ball touched the net.
From the double setting on you've been all of us man. Also, I always laugh so hard whenever i see this scene and Kageyama is like "no, i won't say it yet". Like....he's proud and so pissed at the same time I can't even.
This episode made me cry again. Hinata’s player development is so fricking good, he’s been practicing and (as kenma says) leveling up. Every match, every point, every lost game it all lead to this, not just for him but the whole team. I’m just so proud of my boy, and I think suga’s reactions was a representation of the fandom ‘cuz we all saw him struggle in the begging, and now he just did it and it’s never gonna stop. mucho texto lmao, thanks for your reaction!
I was eating my dinner watching this and Aran went to hit the ball and I had to actually pause it so and went "wait i can't cry with a mouthful of food".....finished what i was eating...pressed play...sobbed 😂
Ball boy arc is my second fave arc, my boy hinata grew so much and I'm so proud of him. Never felt embarrassed for him, instead I rooted for him. I focused on him more than anyone else in first year training camp. I bear the nasty glares and insults with him. I’ll do aything for one and only, hinata shoyo.
Finally Hinata's hard work is starting to pay off!! Seeing him receive was so satisfying! Also the libero of Inarizaka did great digs throughout! Nice reaction! 👍🔥
7:36 I would always cry when hinata did that receive cuz he was able to learn from the youth camp even after other people doubted his skills and his abilities comparing it to tsuuki or kageyama where they said hinata was just better because of kageyama being his setter. 10:36 ooohh my human tangerine is the best lighting their moods after that lost point😭❤️🍊
The funny thing about all the guys watching Karasuno at Nationals that was cut from the anime is Yahaba acting like a tsundere when he's rooting for Karasuno and trying to play it off by saying they're the only team he knows at Nationals.

Bruh I know the panel you’re talking about.. with Hinata and Kageyama bruh it’s so fire.

LOL when he said that last ep i was like...welllllllll xD
13:18 well, this is something that was cut in the anime, but in the manga we see the players from other schools giving coments about this game
god ball boy arc came full circle and seeing hinata grow so much means so much

This episode still gives me so many chills!!!
"I'm so glad I have tissues right next to me" I need to heed that advice😆 despite watching it multiple times
10:53 hinata‘s laugh in that scene is so adorable

It's like Hinata setting a reverse quick for Kageyama 🤣
Man even tho I had read the manga completely, I cried at this scene still with Hinata. All his hard work from season 1 paid off.
This episode goes so fast! I'm always shocked that it's over. lol Love your real reactions!
It's getting better and better. I hope you're having fun!
you gotta react to Psycho-Pass. 3 seasons, such a good series, you’d like it.
Agreed!
Hated the 2nd season. There’s a third??!!!??!?
plus movies!!
season1 is masterpiece,2and3 are getting ordinary but still worth watching~

Been waiting for you to see this episode for a while, such a godlike moment for Hinata
Kita👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼so cute🥺❤️
YES, THIS EPISODE!!! This episode killed me and gave me life
new sub here, a piton is a wedge you’d stab into ice or rock and use to climb
This episode reminds us that Hinata is the main character of the show.
Although i know im late, but im here to start binge watching...hahaha (as always like your reaction videos)😍😍😍
This and the next few episodes, so good. Looking forward to seeing your reactions to them.
Well, time to cry over Hinata Shouyou's growth (and still continuing growth) because THAT'S MY BOY 😭
Gonna need a season 5 soon
Ngl this episode was emotional...
Did u drop dr stone,my hero and slime ?
my cheeks are aching from smiling
This is my favorite episode!
Every reactor seems to have trouble with the word "pitons." They need to play more D&D, that's how I grew my vocabulary of obscure terminology.
YEEEEEEEAAAAAHHH!!
Could you please react to Ace of Diamond.....it's an awesome one too.
Good video
Im a new sub did he ever react to the bunny girl senpai movie?
