Dear Polaris Executives, Do you ever plan to work on fitment? Myself and other riders I have talked to would be happy to buy the a3 for $3k, but your jackets strangle you in the armpits and you could easily star in Janes addiction, been caught stealing, because you have more than enough room to fit your whole Walmart shopping list in the belly area. I understand some of us have put on a few pounds during the transfer of wealth shut down in the last couple of years. But most of us don’t shoplift and require so much room in the belly. Please look into making a cut for someone that is a little broader in the shoulders and less in the belly. Myself and others would happily buy that jacket. Until then I will have to keep rocking my 20 yr old BMW Rally jacket. I know I’m not the only one requesting this. Thank you. Have a good day!
Sizing is interesting. You really have to try them all on to find the right fit...the Kodiak for example is a more of a form fitting Euro cut. I'm in the new Badlands Pro and wear a Large Tall which fits me very well. In the pants I'm a size down from my jeans size and they also fit great.
Just took a 3,000 mile trip with my new Badlands Pro kit courtesy of my amazing wife. Temps from 40°f to 95° dry heat in Texas to 90° humid air in Florida. I can attest that it seals and vents very well. I was very comfortable in the dry heat of Texas, a little warm in Florida but not unbearable. I think the Monument Grey I chose also stays cooler in the sun than the darker colors.. No rain on this trip so I didn't get a chance to test the waterproof properties. Many complain about the weight but I'm telling you, when you have it on, you don't notice it at all. I'm 90% on pavement and while this may be overkill, I hit a deer last year at 70 mph and somehow stayed upright. I wanted the most protection I could reasonably get.
I just wish somebody in the PNW carried Klim gear so a consumer could try this stuff on to compare sizes and styles. Take your best guess and order online, what a ridiculous way to purchase expensive gear..
I chunked out the cash for a Badlands Pro for a trip from Dubrovnik to Istanbul last year. What seemed like a reckless extravagance prior to the trip turned out to be good value. Not having to stop to put on a rain shell alone made it money well spent. I did lose some SD cards for a week in one of the sub-pockets (Pockets within pockets) On colder days in Turkiye, I added a puffy down jacket which retained a lot of heat, but took up next to no room in the panniers. In short, it's one of the best gear purchases I've made. The only downside is it's very heavy to carry around when you're looking at Roman ruins in the heat & stuff like that... Fair tradeoff for the protection though.
Love my Badlands A3 kit, but wish I’d have known the design would be changed to the same as the Badlands Pro instead of the first-gen stand alone design. Having said that, it’s worth the price for sure. Road 33,000 miles on it last year and I am super happy with its performance! From 0°. (With heated gear under) two 100+, it was the right choice of gear every time.
HI KLIM❗️ I don’t understand why I can’t find the kind of jacket I want… Not only you, but also your esteemed competitors no longer have a SPORT-TOURING model with ventilation through the sleeves and an integrated waterproof membrane (Gore-Tex or something similar). Everyone only offers these in adventure style. However, not all of us want to travel the whole world. I don’t even understand what people pack into those huge pockets. A compressor in one, a torque wrench in the other? Give me a sports jacket for the Dolomites. In the valley, it’s 34°C, but at the top, it’s cold and lightly raining. The integrated membrane does its job against the droplets, but in the heat, all the openings on the chest don’t help me at all. The wind protection of the motorcycle prevents air from entering from the front. The only air intake is at the bottom of the sleeves. For adjusting the width of the sleeves, I absolutely need straps and not buttons. Buttons only have settings 1 and 0. Is it really that difficult❓️
Are there any plans to make over-pants that are waterproof but with plenty of zippers for ventilation when it's not wet? I have lots of KLIM gear that I wear all time and have been waiting patiently for years for KLIM to come out with their version of this type of pants.
Your colour ways are very 80’s. But finally you have manage to make the A3 in a nice grey and black 👏🏻, could you do the Badlands pro in the same colours please. You now just need to offer some sizes for normal sized people please.
@@ZX-6R No, and Yes! You'll never get separate armor under the Kodiak. It's shorter in the torso and is more form-fitting. I had the Badlands Pro but used it for road riding only (I wear separate armor under a Baja or Tactical jersey in the dirt). The Kodiak is a much better jacket for the road - which is why i sold the Badlands and bought a Gen 1 Kodiak. I LOVE the Kodiak, it's the best jacket I've ever owned.
Last year i went to a Dutch shop who had a lot of Klim gear. We all had a hard laugh in the end. I do work out a lot. And therefore i do not have a beer belly. But then with Klim you have a big big problem. Cause there was not one jacket that was not special made for having extreme overweight. And also special made for men with a bulby beerbelly. The salesman told me after trying the first jacket that i did not even have to try all the others. Cause Klim's gear focusses toward only to people with a large beerbelly. So i could have saved me the ride. When wearing the jacket i could grab the material at the waist and could pull it atleast 40 cm away from me to the front.😂 The salesman told me that if they would tell in the description at their site that Klim gear is only for people with a very very big waist then nobody would even come to try it on. So i bought nicely fitting gear from Rukka. Damn, 2000 tot 3000.00 Euro for a jacket and a trouser. And with such an awfull fit ? Come one Klim. Do not insult customers. In Europe we have a few companies that create really good quality riding gear. And they do not focus on the beer drinking type of people who are stuffing 3 chickes a day through their mouths. Please leave the European market. The fit of your clothing is an insult to people.
You had a very bad salesperson. You have to try on all the sizes to find the right fit and in particular the Kodiak is a more form fitting euro cut. I'm in the new Badlands Pro. Large to fit my body well, Tall to get my arm length right. It's just about perfect and I don't have a belly.
They could a flip about customers. I had bought a full suit of badlands that were sage. I only got thr pants. I waited a month and half called klim and asked when jacket would be ready they said beginning of year. They changed all the colors. Wouldnt take the pants back. Klim sucks.

You should have links for all the jackets and or pants !
Hey! How is the airflow between badlands pro and badlands pro a3… Is it the same or less airflow due to tougher material?
How does the Klim Enduro S4 fabric ( Schoeller Waterproof Stretch ) compare to the Schoeller drySkin? I understand they are not the same.
I purchased pants a beige color love to have jacket same color
why wasnt the Lattitude jacket included?
Latitude is mainly for touring, not adventure riding.
These are the ADV jackets.

I just picked up the Bandlands Pro kit in Monument Grey. It looks great! I don't like a lot of color on my gear.
Doesn't the Kodiak solve the size problem for not oversized people? Why isn't it in this video?
Kodiak is a touring jacket rather than an adventure jacket.
Kodiak is indeed more of a form fitting Euro cut. Not included here because these are the ADV jackets.
Can t the Kodiak jacket be used for ADV? Is it really different from the others ADV oriented jackets?
@@ZX-6R - of course it can. Klim just doesn’t categorize it as ADV and this is their video production.
