Arlind22 Yeah, he seems to be confusing seeing pixels of a screen itself with image pixilation which is caused by a lower resolution image being stretched across a higher resolution display (the more you zoom the lower the effective resolution becomes). When that happens you have one dot of the image being stretched across more than one screen pixel which makes it look blocky.
Okay I was still going to get the Samsung galaxy s6. But this Phone has two fron speakers from what this video stated. Its water and dust resistant and it has a micro SD slot. The battery is alot bigger then the S6's. The camera seems to be baws.I guess its settles im going to get the Sony Xperia Z5 when it comes out.

Good phone but although the premium is 4K it doesn't have a bright display and can be difficult to see the screen outside, The normal Z5 i believe would be best to get.
Looking through you comments, come on. The snapdragon does not overheat on the z5 (android authority review: 10 minutes of 4k video, no excess heat). It has a dumb chin cause it has dual speakers. Not the crappy ones like Samsung, iPhone, lg... It's just like the HTC phones with boomsounds, the speaker has to go somewhere. Finally, Sony has a good reputation for battery, so accept it fatter size for a "two day" battery.
Umm, it doesn't use 4k the whole time. It renders everything at 1080, and when 4k content is available, then the 4k screen kicks in. It's like an automatic resolution changer from 1080 to 4k and back. So yeah, with its larger battery, I think it's possible.

Only a dead pixel saves power. The 1080p resolution picture will extrapolate to a 4K resolution. All pixel of the display will be active in a 1080p resolution. That's what I mean.

The screen is not 4K 24/7. It only switches to 4K when you are watching a video. When you are not watching a video it goes back to 1080 only. This is a fact that has been officially admitted by Sony. And the real reason they can still promise 2 day battery. That and the 810 processor will literally shut down on static screens/pics.

David Wang You can't optimize a chipset so it doesn't overheat. Thats something only the chipset manufacturer can do. You can optimize the phone well so it keeps the clock speed low, but it is impossible to stop the chipset from overheating when its running at a high clock speed.
sorry to say but Sony experience for me was painful, I bought an Xperia Z3 Dual Waterproof phone, and from that all went wrong, the phone leaked, and the service under warranty is, pardon my language SHAIT!!!, they start blaming me for the leak, anyway long story short, it got to the Consumer Rights Protection that gave me right.Overall quality, phone started to slow down in performance after couple of months (the new replaced phone that I had never had the courage to use under water which negated the reason why I bought the phone in the first place) so I had to do a full factory reset, mention that I am a heavy user work related, not installing loads of apps so the phone stays in factory specs.Please DO NOT BUY Sony phones or your life will be miserable at least with the Z3 dual. 4K? What? Nobody needs 4k if you aren't able to see any pixels on a 2k display. Will you be able to play any game in 4k? I think you won't because a modern pc is even not able to show a game fluently in 4k and a smartphone has got less processor and gpu performance.

Umm, no. 4k is much more crisper than 2k display, the battery life, even with the 4k is still longer than the s6, while still having quick charge. Phone storage is faster? That argument is pointless as it makes zero sense. External SD cards may be slower, but now slow enough to hinder anything. Examples let gl 2 SD puts games on external card and games run just as smooth. Finally, the processors are about the same when it comes to processing power. The snapdragon, does not overheat. It bad software optimizations and bad phone design.
David Wang The battery life on the z5 premium hasn't been tested yet so we don't know its "actual" battery life. Plus its not even using 4k the whole time as it renders the ui and everything except videos and photos in 1080p. Yes, the storage is indeed much faster on the S6 compared to other smartphones including the z5 premium. S6 uses a UFS 2.0 technology that is 2.7 times faster than other flagships with eMMC 5.0 memory. External SDs are not just slower, they are REALLY slower. (blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-galaxy-s6-storage-performance-test/) the S6 storage is around ten times faster in sequential read and write speeds than the fastest SD card out there. Its is more than 20 times faster in random write situations. The processors are not the same. The Exynos 7420 chipset is much better. The 810 overheats and it is already proven so. The Exynose chipset is a better performer even if the 810 doesn't overheat and throttles its clockspeed so there is no question that the Exynos is much better. The Exynos is also made in the smaller nano scale so it has better efficiency.
i hope you are aware that sd card speeds are already to the point where it's noticeably fast. And again, i use the app gl 2 sd, it allows me run games such as gta san andreas, modern combat 5 straight off of my external sd card without missing a heartbeat. And yes, even though it doesn't use 4k all the time (saves battery, which according to sony, it's up to 22 hours, or as they like to call it, 2 day battery). Finally, depending on the tests, the snapdragon does/ does not overheat. Certain tests say it does, other tests say the snapdragon 810 is actually cooler. And again, Sony has improved the design in heat distribution so the phone does not overheat, And here's a test that someone did. They recorded in 4k video for 10 minutes, and the phone did not heat up what-so-ever. I think that says a lot about the chip overheating and what not. Personally, i believe it's bad design that causes the chip to overheat, cause snapdragon claims the tests that they performed, it did not overheat.
I can record in 4k for 20 minutes on my s6 and it won't overheat. 10mb/second is fast enough for you? Wow you are living in the past or your heart just beats really really slow. Not just the sd card but the Sony's built in storage sucks compared to Samsung's. 22 hour battery? First of all how is that two day when a day is 24 hours? Second of all I wonder what the screen on time is? My s6 can last "two days" easily as well. The S6 gets 6 hours of continuous on screen time with medium to low brightness and I am pretty sure the Z5 premium can't beat that.
You know, i just realized, how can we argue about something that hasn't even been fully tested. So far, the 810 does not overheat on the z5 premium, and that's all i can say. Finally, you can rebel and say, oh, my s6 transfers files faster, it's faster than external sd, but honestly, i see not difference. It's like worrying about ssd's and hdd's... it's not that noticeable to me. Yes, internal storage is faster, and what samsung uses is faster than tradition phones, but what for? It is, honestly, just as overkill as the 4k screen. Unnoticeable. Finally, again, if i can run a game just as fast as an internal storage, i don't see the point in worrying about, oh no, i'm getting x mb slower transfer, cause i can't even notice.

Sony optimized the snapdragon 810 so it doesn't overheat and works to its fullest. U do believe each core is clocked around 1.9mhz I think...

Will you be able to play any game in 4k? I think you won't because a modern pc is even not able to show a game fluently in 4k and a smartphone has got less processor and gpu performance.

lol 4k screen on a smartphone? thats completely useless. I have a s6 and I can't distinguish a single pixel on the screen. Even Quad HD on smartphones is overkill. Plus the S6 has much faster storage, better cpu, and a much vibrant display so the s6 is better.
Umm, no. 4k is much more crisper than 2k display, the battery life, even with the 4k is still longer than the s6, while still having quick charge. Phone storage is faster? That argument is pointless as it makes zero sense. External SD cards may be slower, but now slow enough to hinder anything. Examples let gl 2 SD puts games on external card and games run just as smooth. Finally, the processors are about the same when it comes to processing power. The snapdragon, does not overheat. It bad software optimizations and bad phone design.
David Wang The battery life on the z5 premium hasn't been tested yet so we don't know its "actual" battery life. Plus its not even using 4k the whole time as it renders the ui and everything except videos and photos in 1080p. Yes, the storage is indeed much faster on the S6 compared to other smartphones including the z5 premium. S6 uses a UFS 2.0 technology that is 2.7 times faster than other flagships with eMMC 5.0 memory. External SDs are not just slower, they are REALLY slower. (blog.gsmarena.com/samsung-galaxy-s6-storage-performance-test/) the S6 storage is around ten times faster in sequential read and write speeds than the fastest SD card out there. Its is more than 20 times faster in random write situations. The processors are not the same. The Exynos 7420 chipset is much better. The 810 overheats and it is already proven so. The Exynose chipset is a better performer even if the 810 doesn't overheat and throttles its clockspeed so there is no question that the Exynos is much better. The Exynos is also made in the smaller nano scale so it has better efficiency.
i hope you are aware that sd card speeds are already to the point where it's noticeably fast. And again, i use the app gl 2 sd, it allows me run games such as gta san andreas, modern combat 5 straight off of my external sd card without missing a heartbeat. And yes, even though it doesn't use 4k all the time (saves battery, which according to sony, it's up to 22 hours, or as they like to call it, 2 day battery). Finally, depending on the tests, the snapdragon does/ does not overheat. Certain tests say it does, other tests say the snapdragon 810 is actually cooler. And again, Sony has improved the design in heat distribution so the phone does not overheat, And here's a test that someone did. They recorded in 4k video for 10 minutes, and the phone did not heat up what-so-ever. I think that says a lot about the chip overheating and what not. Personally, i believe it's bad design that causes the chip to overheat, cause snapdragon claims the tests that they performed, it did not overheat.
I can record in 4k for 20 minutes on my s6 and it won't overheat. 10mb/second is fast enough for you? Wow you are living in the past or your heart just beats really really slow. Not just the sd card but the Sony's built in storage sucks compared to Samsung's.
22 hour battery? First of all how is that two day when a day is 24 hours? Second of all I wonder what the screen on time is? My s6 can last "two days" easily as well. The S6 gets 6 hours of continuous on screen time with medium to low brightness and I am pretty sure the Z5 premium can't beat that.
You know, i just realized, how can we argue about something that hasn't even been fully tested. So far, the 810 does not overheat on the z5 premium, and that's all i can say. Finally, you can rebel and say, oh, my s6 transfers files faster, it's faster than external sd, but honestly, i see not difference. It's like worrying about ssd's and hdd's... it's not that noticeable to me. Yes, internal storage is faster, and what samsung uses is faster than tradition phones, but what for? It is, honestly, just as overkill as the 4k screen. Unnoticeable. Finally, again, if i can run a game just as fast as an internal storage, i don't see the point in worrying about, oh no, i'm getting x mb slower transfer, cause i can't even notice.
