I got mine yesterday in Chrome as well! My first impression was exactly like yours...infinite wows for half an hour!! Interestingly enough, I got a descent earphones set included in the box, inside the documentation box and it was drawn on the outside of it unlike yours that has only had a pic of a book, they included a pretty old earphones set the MH750 (my mom got these with her Xperia Z Ultra 3 years ago) though I didn't get a free screen protector. My box was sealed and I had to use the decoration knife! xD Like you said, ONLY SONY can give you that euphoria when unboxing! Make.Believe!
I couldn't stop cracking up at the Sony fanboy side of you :) That said I am waiting for mine to clear customs here in Korea and will probably be doing exactly this sometime over the weekend. And more. If you can tech trinkets please make a gaming video about the z5 premium and compare the gaming video with the z5 also if possible post the frame rate on each phone. what are you doing? did you know that only video, image, and third party 4k app are upscaled to 4k. the homescreen is just 1080p dude! i'm expecting to see you crop in those 4k video, i want to see detail it retains

not in his set which I believe is a review set.......bought mine in Singapore few weeks back and it does come with earphones......certain countries I've read doesn't come with it but I can say mine definitely came with the earphones

I am a fan of Sony products, but never been a fan of their phone designs. I wish they would get rid of the silly flaps for the sim/memory cards and put in a sim tray like other manufacturers.
well, i had a sony xperia S and i love it because the design stuck out (glas-bar) and i always hope the further gens to on with this trend. then came the Z the z2 and so on and they all became reduced minimalistic and they all look the same every generation. thats why i stuck with my xperia s for so long although i got painfully slow over time which lead to needed a new phone. and since sony is still going this course, i now got an s6 edge and besides design, i feel like iam better off in any other way imagineable

I love the press 'reviewing' Sony phones. When they put this phone out they were all "but do you really need a 4K screen on a phone". Then when they subsequently released phones without a 4K screen they were all "still only a FullHD display here though". But you end up learning that most reviewers are either paid up to favour anything Samsung or paid up to favour anything Apple. So in the end it doesn't really matter how good Sony phones are - they're always going to get a bad slant in most reviews.

Just got mine last week Sep. 2018. I was waiting for the price to come down and I finally got a great deal on E-bay. It's a gorgeous phone. I just loved your reaction when you peeled off the plastic from the back. My other drop-dead gorgeous phone is the original Xiaomi Mi Mix premium with the 18K gold rings around the camera and fingerprint sensor.
You have the same level of excitement I would have if I open one of these! 😁 It just looks so fab!! Love your videos bro! Keep em up! Still can't get over that chrome... So gorgeous!
