- This my Honda CBR 250r, this is my first motorcycle. Second Owner. Had it for about 2.5 years. Planning to upgrade for the next season. If you have any questions and comments, post it below! It is also listed for sale on the south jersey craigslist. Filmed on a Samsung Galaxy S6

I just started riding this year (i'm 64) and this is my bike. I absolutely love it. It is so easy to ride and just perfect for a female. Right now, I am miserable because in Canada it is winter and I won't be able to ride again until April or May. Now I have to be content with watching videos. I am going to modify the handlebars over winter as I find the position a bit uncomfortable after a couple of hundred kilometers. Hoping to do some touring with hubby next season.
I sold this bike and moved up to a VFR 800 and a suzuki burgman 650 years ago. This bike I believed I loosened the handlebars and made them tighter together so it wasnt so wide. I helped with posture sitting up right a bit and didnt affect the turning when its locked one way. In FL now so I dont have winters here😂
I know it's a bit late, but I just got this bike. Same year and such, but it doesn't top out at 85MPH. I easily did 152KMH (~94MPH) but I didn't want to go faster. Thanks for the vid.
How much do you weigh?
Has to do with your weight I’d say. I think I could prob go a bit higher on one of these 250s as well since I’m only 115lbs.
I agree, I weigh 85kg and got it up to 174km/h without redlining as yet. Wondering what the speedo error actually is though.
I'm a little over 72kg and I've had 103 from mine. That was really pushing it though. I much prefer sitting at 70 at 6k revs

Thanks a lot! No it was not "street legal" as any after market is not legal. I have never had a problem with cops with them. You should hear my new bike instead!!

No idea, this bike is already low enough. I would leave it as stock and wait until you get a bigger bike to do anything. Strech also negatively affects your handling

Is that the 300 version or still 250?
Your bike must have a speed limiter added to it. It should do 100mph +. Can go all day at 80mph without overheating. Good for the city as not too big and great for the highway and distance. You probably could change the chip to up the speed.

100 on a 250 for long periods of time? Yea im good. After 70 youre pretty high in the rpms. Hence why I increased the sprocket size in the front for that reason. Just because you can doesnt mean you should
A 250 will and should go 100mph. All this off a cliff bollocks is ridiculous. If your not going over 90 comfortably on a 250 it's user error. 125cc's can do 70.
I can sit at 70-75 at 6k revs EASILY. it's only 85plus when revs start hitting the 8.5k

Single cylinder, tops out about 90-95mph

@@naviagetro8912 i would do go for. I sold mine back in 2017 for 3k. In good condition youll pay for the price but itll keep its value if you take care of it
