I use the TP-II, which I love. Also anodized red, with black aluminum paddles. Absolutely worth every penny. Also I had very vice contact to the producer Markus, a ham operator himself.
Well, I loved the feel of the TP-III, and given that this is a hobby and just for fun, I don't find the price all that crazy. One small point you made that is very important to me is that in my opinion ALL keys should come with a jack rather than an attached cable.
As a Machinist and owning my own machine shop I think I will design and manurfacture my own. Thank you for showing, good review But a bit beyound my budjet, after all i have a box full of quality keys, do I need one more, Heck Ya. 73'

The TP-III is fantastic! I have been using one for over a year now for POTA and SOTA as well as using it as my main key in the shack. I love it so much I have three of them! Markus DL6YYM is also a great guy to deal with. Can’t recommend this key enough, it is worth every penny.

Thanks for your experience. It is obvious when hams create products as they are designed for us not for them to make a buck.

I love my TP-III. Yeah, it’s spendy, but once you feel the build quality and get it tweaked to your taste you will forget about what it cost.
