As Palm Radio Pico and Mini User, I tried this radio adventure key, too, about 2 years ago. But similar to the price difference, there was a bigger quality and "feeling" difference between these two different paddles. I found it maybe okay but really not as good as the palm keys. I wasnt really happy with the radio adventure key and bought another palm radio. Anyway I will try it again and ordered another one these days. 😊 No doubt: very beautiful and useful for portable activities but I think not really the best and excact feeling while keying. Wouldnt say, that this is an alternative. Just my experience... Maybe wrong. 73 DL5AZZ anyway.. the best is the bamakey 😅 thanks for your videos
Thanks for your observations. I put it as an alternative since the Palm paddles are no longer available. I wish they were. Also, as I stated in the video, I believe there were some improvements made over what you probably have as I got my first one in that same timeframe. Probably still not as good as the Palm but better than nothing.
@@houseofhamradio I fully agree with you and will test the new one. Anyway it needs a more inexpensive portable key like the radio adventure, especially in Europe. Thanks and 73
I bought this key a year ago. It was great at first, but the printed paddles started to show “plastic fatigue” after a few months and eventually became too “sloppy” for me to use for SOTA activations. Dits became dashes and vice versa. I subsequently bought the BaMaKeY, which I have found to be much more durable. YMMV. Jim WJ1R

I certainly don't have much time on mine yet and I agree the Bamakey is far superior.
