So I'm new to the space of digital marketing, and marketing in general, but the one great thing I have noticed about your content and videos is your subtle call to action that feels very effortless. I got to this video from two other videos and I'm about to enter another video from here and it keeps going, lol. Great job. very educative, and captivating.

  • @PlatinumForceGaming1

My biggest takeaway is that you are extremely good at executing the mentioned psychological tricks throughout the video, throughout the video. In a way that glues the viewers attention but also provides good information. Nice work, would be very interested to see the retention rate of this video as well as CTR.

I am a massage therapist and I just started my own business. I thought I knew what you were going to say with the framing effect but I was wrong ha ha ha. You did give me a really cool idea though. I am now thinking about putting a front and back facing body shape on my wall in my office and covering them with Velcro and having my clients come in and place "pain points" where they are feeling the most discomfort. This gets them involved in the massage process and I can look up at it to remind me what my client wanted. Thank you for the cool idea.

My favorite technique so far was the one where you said you gave the Client a whole bunch of choices and they were confused but then when you had a few choices, they are more likely to buy.
I am going to try doing this for sure .

Like this I was learning/researching Behavioural Science focused on Consumer Psychology too, read the books which were quite repetitive and started collecting the latest Research Papers. Organised it under each concept and decided to share the final work in audio/podcast format here. I learned 150 principles and concepts and thought others could skip the effort and just learn years worth of work podcast style. 👍

This is a phenomenal summary that would take months or even years for me to learn on my own doing research. I was familiar with about half of them, but it was great to review those and to learn the other half of new ones. It is SO INTERESTING! One of my favorite resources in this area is the book, "Influence," by Robert Cialdini. I'm sure you're read it. Anyway, I will have to rewatch this video, take notes, and it's a keeper for sure. Thank you, Adam!

I have been most impacted by 'The Ikea" effect, I am a fashion designer and my brand allows my clients to customize an existing design to better suit them. So I will be working on improving that customer experience so that the customer understands the value that service provides therefore encouraging them to be willing to pay the premium price that comes with that service.

The way I know this guy is legit is by comparing what he's saying to actual ads that resonated with me, and every point he made was present in some way to ads that I enjoyed, like the bandwagon effect, the peltzman effect, compromise effect (especially on websites offering subscriptions or courses), and the halo effect to name a few

THE BIGGEST bias for me was when you told as about "the serial position effect" and you told us that you put the most important ones at first and at last, although you did not mention this bias IT GOT ME FOR SURE!!!
first you placed it at second which is the perfect place due to your reasoning why you did not place it at first
secondly actually this is the genius part you made me go through the video up to the last

I never buy a product from a company if there are too many options! i think its too overwhelming. I also don't like to waste alot of time in a specific store etc. If there is a few options i feel comfortable, feel satisfied when i make a purchase. Thats one of the reasons i like your channel! Its very easy to navigate and beginner friendly. TH-cam has way to many marketing channels and its overwhelming.>_< Also your videos are short and to the point! Impressive man.
It's interesting, what you do. Though I have to admit, I think there's a fine line between negative manipulation and acceptable sales/marketing/advertising enticement. And MANY in the industry strike me as dishonest in their methods in that regard.
In your case, I think you seem pretty above-board and are probably helping many people pursue and reach goals in this field. So RESPECT there.
Where I would personally struggle the most is with Minimalism. For as a reader of many of the classic works of literature, I have the unfortunate habit of being unintentionally flowery in my discourses, and writing in general. (I'll spare you the insufferable name-dropping of countless favorite authors. You're welcome)
Nonetheless I find this all very fascinating and will share you with those in my online writing circles.
    Great work.

Great video Adam!! The one I personally detest is the Ikea Effect. You click on a website and immediately a pop-up box appears on screen. At that point I want to leave. I've come to your website to look at your product or service not to fill in a survey! So I manoeuvre to the X in the top right of screen where I am then asked if I really want to leave. At this point I'm absolutely enraged, click on the X and never ever return to that site so Ikea effect is a massive negative as far as I'm concerned and I will never go down that route. I hate pop-up boxes and I really really hate it when I want to leave but am questioned about it first. I don't like being held to hostage which is what it feels like.

Thank you! Black women are the leaders when it comes to starting their own businesses nowadays but it doesn’t ensure that we’re successful. Informative videos like this really help our community as we can find it difficult in our communities to share information like this. 1. Can’t teach what you were never taught 2. Gate keeping 3. Sexual harassment or pressures from men. So it’s nice to have access to this information without the hassle of it all. Thanks again🎉❤

My biggest takeaway is that people want to feel validated whilst doing as little as possible. Which means you should make them feel as important as you can in the marketing process whilst validating their identity.

I have experienced over the many years of selling the main 3 triggers, and not so much triggers, are the words "free shipping", low prices, and items on sale. Everybody is looking for a bargain, no matter what it looks like.

Hi! When you’re talking about the bandwagon effect, and how the closer social proofs match the identities, beliefs and values or the appearance of the people you’re trying to reach is even better… it got me thinking… Do you happen to know if AI is currently being used to generate marketing lists for social media audiences that help align with this? Like using photo scans, post searches, and evaluation of hashtags to identify users who would be seeing companies’ targeted ads?
