Also, just so you know, in gen 1 there was a glitch with the script so it will say that moves are super effective or not very effective on duel-type Pokemon if it is that way to one of the types it has. So like with Charizard, when it said that an ice type move was super effective, it was actually just normal effectiveness because it's strong to flying but weak to fire. Hope this helped!
I have a challenge it's a no Evolution nuzlock where you need to beat the game with nuzlock rule but you aren't allowed to evolve any pokémon but you can also make it a no evolution challenge where you catch the first pokémon of every route to make it easier

The first 3 gift Pokemon are the starter trio. Really what game couldnt you beat if you're given that? That's near perfect coverage. Especially since the Bulbasaur and Charmander lines have secondary types.
A really good way to make a strong nuzz is by allowing items but not pokecenters. This forces more careful fights and resets to your home can be devastating early as yoyr cash is limited
Have you thought of doing can you beat Pokemon Crystal with only trade Pokemon or gift Pokemon like Eevee, Togepi (since you get it from it's egg) and you'll get another egg in Pokemon Crystal from the day care couple and I guess you could buy a Pokemon from the goldenrod casino or whatever it's called since you can buy Pokemon from there being another gift Pokemon but that's just an idea

Ice punch isn’t super effective against charizard in gen 1 it only looks at one type in this case flying but the damage calculation is still correct

It's probably just me but the Helix fossil is overrated and the Dome fossil was always better
