I don’t understand, when I do the last step and I’m at the very last piece I try to to the beginner algorithm like he did and it just resets me back to layer 1 or 2

i do. tbh i havent solved it in a long time, but luckily i used to be pretty good. My tutorial is a little bit harder than most beginner tutorials, but you can get MUCH better times with it

You're making a white cross instead of a daisy first. I think it's a combination of a white cross and the beginner's method.
