Amazing! went from something that looked like it had been buried in the mud, near a creek bed for months, to a beautiful little decor lamp. Awesome! 😀👍

Thanks. I agree the old bulb setup must have looked strange. Maybe the original globe was frosted and you couldn't see the giant bulb.. I'll never know.
Did you know you could have just soaked those in straight vinegar? Cooking vinegar is about 5%. Horticultural vinegar is 20%, and some is as high as 45%. It is the acid of the vinegar which dissolves the rust. .... I understand that you use the flour mixture so the acid will cling to the parts. I usually just soak the parts vinegar, covering the container. I allow the parts to sit for a day, with occasional shaking or stirring to help loosen any rust that is ready to fall off, exposing more material.
Magic lamp????😲😲 Sold for me!!!🤗🤗 Can't wait to rub it and find the jinie🤩🤩 P.s where did you find zoltar???🤯🤯 its from the movie ''big'' with Tom hanks
Hahaha, thanks. I GOT Zoltar as a gift. Family thought I need one after how excited I was to find a real one at the boardwalk one summer. I wished to be younger..... didn't work! Hahahaha
I do not disagree with you, but it is uncommon to see a ground wire on small, plug-in type lamps in the U.S. using 110V. Replacement lamp cords are mainly sold as 2-wire and that is how most new, UL certified lamps come. I agree that it would add an extra layer of safety and I appreciate you looking out for me.
The center threaded piece was beyond saving and not structurally sound. It was also not unique to this lamp so I made the decision to just break it to get it apart and move forward. "B'laster PB" is my usual go to for penetrating oil. I also like "Kroil", but it has a very strong odor so don't use it indoors. Of course WD40 has a home on my bench as well. Thank you for watching.
Me ha encantado tu excelente trabajo. 👏👏👏
Very impressive, and a great result. Thank you for sharing !

A very good guess! I pulled it out of the mud in a barn, next to a ditch that is always soggy, where it had been for several years..... thanks.

are you afraid to use oil before dissasemble ?Thats why u broke that piece when you tried to torsion it

At least the end product turned out very good; No offense but you could have made your video under 10 minutes long without harming the contents.
No offense taken. I appreciate feedback. Thank you.
Desperdician demasiada agua!
