    I’m having issues with my LX5. It’s the zoom being sticky and/or struggling when I go Wide or telephoto. Do you have a video on how to repair the zoom?
    It started after my trip to Spain I went during the summer. I think moisture build up on the lens barrel from being in the heat and then back to a heavy a/c environment. What would you recommend I do to try and fix the issue?
    Thanks!

      A) - Film yourself carefully taking the whole thing apart with tools, clean the bits with 99% alcohol, put it all back together watching the video back if you get lost.. Post the vid online if it's successful..!
      B) - Take it to a repair shop 🤖

    I have a G7 and my shutter speed dial quit clicking when turning.
    I was taking a pic at a weird angle and rotated it from behind and now it rotates freely.
    Any idea's ?

    You must have some kind of experience in the camera repair field my friend because I’ll be honest with you I would be scared to do what you just did.

      Yes my experience is comming because I have trained myself during many, many years (+25 years) with a lot's of try and error's in a huge amount of camera's and lenses and other stuff, just to be better to fix it.
      NO (0) proffessional's repair tech people has trained me to do so and so, and the problem is, today there is no shool's for that kind of work and there's no proffessional's to ask how to do it.
      So, I have to figure it out myself, and many times with out a repair or service manual, it was also therefor I started to share my own experience with other people on my TH-cam channal, and hopefully other's can use the information in my video's, and in that way repair ther own stuff and save money.
      Cheers
      Kenneth

    Is the 99% alcohol o r 91%?

    • @mikeno62
      @mikeno62  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the 99% Isopropylalcohol, but I think you can also use the 91%.
