This is an absolutely brilliant video! A combination of strong evidence paired with how the Book of Mormon can change lives. Thanks to everyone at Scripture Central and the team who are producing these videos and testifying of Jesus Christ. Keep up the great work!

@@archangel_one Haha, well I admittedly have a bit of a dull personality, but hopefully haven't reached bot status yet! No, I commented because I am sincerely grateful for the kind of content that Scripture Central produces, and I felt this video, in particular, was wonderful, because it not only provides a few evidences of the Book of Mormon, but far more importantly, Scott Christopher's testimony of the book comes through loud and clear. No one can prove the Book of Mormon true with physical evidence, and no one can prove it false with physical evidence either. The only way to know if the book is the word of God is to ask God himself. I have done that and received my answer, and it changed my life. So when Scott testifies he has done and felt the same thing, I am simply grateful. Hence, my comment. I hope that answered your question.

@@AnsweringLDSCritics-pw3bq Hey, thanks for the thoughtful answer. I was actually hoping for that. It did rather sound like you were giving your approval of the video, regardless of content -- which I am hoping is not the case.
But, the LDS says that the Book of Mormon is incorrect, like when it says Jesus is God. The LDS believe that Jesus is a god, God is just a mere god, etc. That they were merely exalted beings.
As far as I am aware, the Book of Mormon does not teach that God was just a man and that men will become gods, but the LDS does?
I've been watching evidence videos and so far there is NO evidence that the LDS or Book of Mormon is true (other than when or where it quotes the KJV). And the fact that the KJV is in the BoM really bothers me.
When I saw all those chapters of Isaiah, the first thing I thought was "it's a lie, it's all fake" but that part didn't bother me as the obvious conclusion which was, "...and the Mormons obviously know this."
I didn't expect there to be evidence, but if there was any, I would be okay with acknowledging it. But the only evidence I've found so far screams "not the Word of God" and "not from a man of God."
If it is true, finding evidence shouldn't be so impossible.
This sounds crazy, but I've died, Jesus appeared and escorted me home to God. Of course, how does one have evidence of this? But at the same time, I have much more evidence than the LDS or Joseph Smith had, and, as far as I am aware, it was not a dream, vision, or an NDE, because I've had both, and it was not like them -- this was very real.
And yet, I am a man of God -- not perfect -- but the LDS would never hear me or Jesus Christ, unless we matched the Joseph.
This bothers the Almighty God, I am sure, which is why it bothers me.

in 1999 a friend gave me the Gospel Principles manual. In it I would often be referred to 1 Nep, 2 Nep, Hel etc etc. I couldn't find a place to read these verses I was been referred to and it troubled me like a craving inside. I must have read the manual in a day, cause the following day, I got up was walking to the Library (about 5 km away) to find the Book containing these verses the manual was referring me to. That's when I met my friend on the way (he was from School) hardly before I could even make the first 100 meters of my trip. Curious about my trip, and in response to my replies regarding where and what I was going to do, he informed me he has the book I was looking for, it was in his house. I don't remember much about my reading the Book of Mormon, I just know I loved it, I'm one of those converts that has never had to pray about it. It hit me before I could even lay hands on it. I went looking for it. Nobody told me about it. My love for it today is just growing stronger.

He had a humbling, sacred experience and knew it was true. He was baptized 34 years ago and never stops testifying to anyone who will listen to him, the power, truth, light and testimony of Christ found in it.

[105] *Joseph Smith would put the seer stone into a hat, and put his face in the hat, drawing it closely around his face to exclude the light; and in the darkness the spiritual light would shine. A piece of something resembling parchment would appear, and on that appeared the writing. One character at a time would appear, and under it was the interpretation in English. Brother Joseph would read off the English to Oliver Cowdery, who was his principle scribe, and when it was written down and repeated to Brother Joseph to see if it was correct, then it would disappear, and another character with the interpretation would appear. I love this….. so many little pearls that are so precious. I’m studying the book of Mormon now and I’m linking it to things and places in the Americas but more importantly, I’m starting to understand really for the first time the bigger picture and the number of human beings that has lived and is now living on earth …is vast. All these words written in this abridged book of records and spiritual teachings will save us, if we just open our minds and hearts and embrace them. It has already saved me, and I have grown so much closer to my savior, to the point I feel that I know him personally now. I even have feelings of great admiration, love and respect for people talked about in the book of Mormon such as Lehi, Nephi, Jacob, Alma, and Morroni. I’m still reading, and I have a long way to go, but I’m taking my time digesting each verse, chapter, and page. I’m reading 2 Nephi now where he is quoting Isaiah and I am realizing for the first time that I actually understand what Isaiah is saying. Hallelujah.

Back in November, I did a deep dive in Jacob 5. I've been wanting to find a video that explains grafting, bad fruit, ect. to help me be able to better visualize the Allogory of the Olive Teee. I very much appreciate your gift to all who take the time to listen and learn from your hard work and testimony. I loved the story of the sister who shared her husband and their conversation story.

Jacob Chapter 5 has always been my favorite Chapter in The Book of Mormon. This episode was so great to see. I am also glad to see that we can push the work forward in many ways. Reading through the comments and seeing those who were converted with their experiences is like Christmas morning presents, each one is different, but fantastic and you can't wait to see the next one.
I will add my experience. Growing up my Dad would have us read and study. I never had any grand moment. Every time I have ever just opened it up to read I just knew that it was true and the truth is contained in the Book. I have never questioned it because the knowledge just flows from it whenever I read the Book.
Now my Dad would have a great story, but he passed away back in 2003. Growing up his parents weren't active members, they would help with fund raisers and other things with the ward, but they didn't bother going to church or reading the scriptures. My dad was invited to primary, grandpa told him to go and have fun. My dad went and a few months after he turned 8 the Bishop asked him if he wanted to get Baptized. My Dad at 8 decided he needed to learn more, so at an age most wouldn't have understood, he read the entire Book of Mormon cover to cover in a few days. He then went on and read from the Bible, the entire Bible. He came back to the Bishop two weeks after the Bishop asked him and he said yes, he would like to be Baptized. The missionaries were called to come and teach him as my Grandparents at the time did not go to Church. My dad got Baptized at 9 years old, having read The Book of Mormon at least 6 times before he was Baptized. Many Years later he helped his Mom and Dad take out their Endowments and then they were all sealed together in the Ogden Temple.

I loved the testimony Julia shared, how the Book of Mormon changed their family’s life and was the truth they had been searching the world for. I felt the Holy Ghost strongly as she shared their story experiences. The Book of Mormon has changed my life and taught me so much about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father’s perfect plan. My recommendation to Scripture Central would be to talk about Jesus Christ more in every segment. Maybe you talk about it more than I have noticed, but you could emphasize Jesus Christ more in every segment. I love the show, though, and appreciate your dedication to sharing The Book of Mormon with the world!

I fired up your video 2 here and boy, it was so emotional, I loved it all but it had me in tears when the olive vineyard was shown and when you interviewed Julia from Spain. No trouble to feel the Holy Ghost here. I love humor , playfulness & bloopers at the end of programs (usually). I loved this documentary so much!
Unfortunately for me mixing the bloopers at the end felt inappropriate, as you were sharing sacred and special evidences throughout the documentary. Then bloopers about those sacred moments from the making just rubbed me really weird and almost discounted the sacredness of what was being shared.
Just a thought, I’m prob weird.
Thanks for the incredible work, research, time and energy dedicated to the production of such wonderful truths! Loved it so much!

I am impressed by the evidence from the talk with Mr. Perry concerning the name Alma being a Jewish name from 122 AD. Nephi wrote in about 550 BC, so if you want further proof that the Book of Mormon is inspired and translated by Heavenly Father, just look at the dates between the Jewish history from the scroll found in caves near where the dead sea scrolls came from: Nephi/Maroni used the name Alma over 700 years prior to the Jewish reference.

The olive tree is really a beautiful tree. I lived in the low California desert for a number of years with a climate similar to the Holy Land. They even have a fresh water lake connected by a river to a salty sea. But, they also brought in the date tree, the olive tree, the tamarisk, and other plants. It was great to be able to walk through the desert listening to the Bible on my tape player and imagining walking beside the prophets.
This was a fairly informative video, but you just scratched the surface on each of the topics. Each topic was worth its own video.
The parable of the vineyard runs throughout the entire Bible. After the flood, the first thing Noah did was to plant a vineyard.
The purpose of the Book of Mormon is far greater than to convince you it is "true", and Joseph Smith was a prophet. It's purpose is to convince you that Jesus is the Christ, and the only way you can truly know that is to read the book, follow the teachings and experience the "mighty change of heart", "the remission of your sins", and baptism of the fire and the Holy Ghost, the experience with Christ in the flesh for yourself. This is what the Book of Mormon is for, and this is what it leads to. I so testify.
The writers of the Book of Mormon, Joseph, Oliver, the Three Witnesses, and the Eight Witnesses didn't go through all their travails, just to impress you. They did all that they did to present Christ to you and to hold Him up as the source unto which you should look for your salvation.
