I am being baptized Nov 10,2024 at 64 years old and am so grateful to God for loving me and Jesus for dying so that I may have this chance to change and choose to follow Him and walk in the light I can't wait to have His Holy Spirit live in me and lead me and comfort me and chasten me when needed,For Jesus is my only hope of seeing my Heavenly Father and having Life eternal, I want. to thank this church for welcoming me and making me feel worthy of the Lord's love and forgiveness and mercy,thank you and I will seek Him diligently and with every fiber of my being do my best to be .ore like Christ Jesus every day,I. 4 months ago, my husband and I returned home to Salt Lake City after serving an 18-month mission in West Africa, specifically Liberia and Ghana. Yes, it was hard sometimes. It was very hot and humid sometimes. We got robbed twice. We were very far from our beloved family and friends. Was it worth all of that? ABSOLUTELY!!! We served an honorable mission and wouldn't change this "sometimes difficult" experience for anything in the world!!! What an honor it was to be called to serve my dear brothers and sisters in Africa! I owe my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ so much for their confidence in me, their love, support, and protection!!
I am 82 and I bought 2 of these 2 weeks ago. One is for me and one for my neighbor who is a minister in another church. I know It will help me to be stronger and better in my journey to be my best self..
I love you Elder Uchtdorf. Thank you for your inspiring words and your cute sense of humor. The Holy Spirit shines through you, and I feel you truly know and love our Savior. Thank you for being a precious Apostle of our Lord. You helped me once when going through terrible challenges. I will always be grateful for your love and kindness. I am now 72 years old. This is a perfect talk for which for me to listen!! My dear husband Billy & I were both convert members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Saints prior to our getting married!! God our Heavenly Father called my husband home from this mortal life to beyond the veil a week ago yesterday!! Now, I remain here until Father calls me home, too, at which time I will be blessed to both be in Father's presence &:also see my beloved again!! I know that our spirits lived with Heavenly Father before our mortal birth, & our spirits will continue to live after our mortal death!! ❤

Eu li Alma 32: 38 "e quando chegar o calor do sol e a abrasar..." pensei nesses dias de como cultivar a raiz com cuidado e atenção, para não secar e não morrer. Com todos sentindo alegria por poderem estar com um apóstolo do Senhor tão querido ❤ pela igreja do Senhor e ouvindo os seus conselhos sagrados e amorosos.❤ Sou grata por esse dia do Senhor perfeito. Todos os dias do Senhor são perfeitos assim. É um desejo. Que se prolongue dias reconfortantes assim nessa terra pra sempre para todos nós para que Jesus Cristo venha ❤
