I hope someone will do a better Terminator model sometime. It really deserves the level of that Autoart Mach 1.

    Maisto has improved lately.
Some cars don't have detailed rims. Charger, and nova, but improved the mustangs, and rims acuratly

Maisto is pretty good for the price but autoart is next level. I wish autoart had more variety.

IMO autoart does have a decent variety with the exception of Ferrari where maisto has that advantage. My gripe with autoart is their lack of detail on their newer models compared to what they used to put out while charging the same or more for certain cars in their lineup. Their sig series line up still has some very nice models but they do cost upwards of over 200 usually so you gotta be a huge fan to consider it worth the price.

I recently got real lucky, I bought a Autoart Bullitt GT for sub $70, and a Mach 1 brand new in box for $150 shipped!

The Maisto Mustangs are very nice for the price.(about 25-30 bucks when new) The Autoart mustang was around 100 bucks when first released.

maisto is straight up great value. sure, it's nowhere near as detailed as an autoart but for less than $30 on average (even less at costco/sam's club) they look great on display and you wont feel terrible if something breaks on them. autoart, while nice (i have several models) has a price problem because you have to consider what else is available around the same range usually. what they always get right is the overall appearance to the 1:1 version, regardless if its a sealed or fully opening model. my gripe with them lately is their attempt at trying to charge $150 or more for models that just dont have the same level of detail that their previous versions did. their move to composite wouldn't have been that terrible if they would have doubled down on making them as highly detailed as they could to compensate. i have a composite lambo and while its not as heavy as my diecast ones its not all that bad overall even if only the doors open. it still looks way better than a maisto version would probably look but for paying over $100 for any single model it gets harder and harder to justify if autoart keeps cutting corners.

I really wish that autoart had made the cobras too. Autoart pays more attention to detail than maisto. BTW...did you notice on the autoart mach 1's that there are 03's and some are 04? The 04's have the 40th anniversary badges on the fenders.

Yes, a long time ago I did see that. Also the Bullitt fuel door on 2003 models, the regular door on 2004 models, but on backwards. There are some interesting differences

Do u think a 03 Mach1 with 87k miles for $9,000 is worth looking at? Engine bay looks really clean, interior the same. Paint looks OK except for clear coat peeling on the hood and other spots, few rock chips etc. Thoughts?
