  • @oTitanBlacko
    @oTitanBlacko 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It seems like the majority of the MK7 19-20 parts could fit this. Did the springs make you recalibrate the front assist systems? I’m looking at the APR Roll Control springs since it says for use with or without DCC.

    • @Reallseb
      @Reallseb  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Didn’t have to re calibrate them no, but I did have to clear fault codes & adapt the battery

      @@Reallseb I'm just waiting for more parts to actually release for this thing. I know the AWE Track Exhaust fits which I'll get, again. I want to et paddle shifter extensions like I had in my 202 GLI but I think these in the 2024 are slightly different so I'm afraid to order a set and have them be wrong. But all the other parts I had on my 2020, I'm gonna get for this one because they all fit. The springs you got were from 2019-2020 and they worked? I thought lowering these with DCC may cause issues if you didn't get the right springs or something.

    • @Reallseb
      @Reallseb  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @oTitanBlacko These mk7.5 Glis are on the mqb platform still. Most if not all the parts from the 2019-2023 jettas will fit the 2024 model. The springs I got fit the mqb platform, no issues with my dcc yet. I will be deleting dcc and running bags here soon anyway

    I have a mk7.5 jetta GLI basically all first mods I want it to do are the same but I’m thinking to get H&R lowering springs.

    • @Reallseb
      @Reallseb  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The springs are nice that’s for sure! These are placeholders because I couldn’t stand the wheel gap. Bags are coming sooner than later🤫

    • @youtubejunkie8053
      @youtubejunkie8053 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I had the H&R and my Mk6 and they were way too stiff for me, car bounced everywhere. Switch to the Eibach/Bilstien setup and it’s like a stock ride but sits flat around corners and no more wheel gap.

  • @juvnchy
    @juvnchy 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I want to get lowering springs but I’m a big fan of the “comfort” mode on the DCC. Do you think it’s worth it to basically render the DCC ‘useless’ with springs. I mean it looks amazing but I paid for that DCC so I just wanna make sure I’m getting the most out of my cash lol.

    • @Reallseb
      @Reallseb  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Dcc will still function properly with these lowering springs, that’s when I had the car I opted to buy them vs. coilovers

    • @juvnchy
      @juvnchy 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Reallseb ohhh okay. do you have to recalibrate the DCC then? Cuz i’d imagine you drop it and it’ll just bottom out w/o calibration

    Got a question to all 24 GLI owners. On the sport gauge screen (the one with the boost gauge, g meter etc.) there is one gauge that measures the power in Kilowatt. on my Autobahn that gauge does not move, it is always at 0 at full throttle or at a stop like it is broken. I have seen it working normally on other model years. The other gauges work just fine. I know this screen is mostly for fun and the KW gauge is useless, but it is such an odd issue that is not worth a trip to the dealership. anyone else have this problem or a fix?

      I was kinda in the same boat. I've owned and driven over 20 Mustang's in my life and wanted a 4 cylinder to mod and race for something completely different and working on v8's gets old after many years. Was down to the GTI, Accord 2.0T Sport and Elantra N. Decided on my GTI due to the aftermarket support. The EN was super nice and stock it sounds amazing but there's only so many mods companies make for them. Good luck
