You have just the right amount of OCD and perfectionism. If I ever win the lottery - I'm coming to Florida to get you to fix/upgrade the tunes in my 2019 F150 XLT.
I really appreciate the way you show us all the ways you've thought it out and what you've done to make it easier and the process nice and well built It must take a lot to do all that and show people again thank you.
Great great video with alot of no sweat details just like when we were at the expo, I know the manufacturers and also customers appreciate that you have a vast knowledge of the equipment, design and lil details for everyone that they getting a proper representation of industry equipment and customer service
Tons of great info here - including the fact that the rears have a factory crossover. Was hoping to upgrade the rear speakers for more bass and clearly that would not work.
I recently did a loc and amp install in my 2015 f150. You hit on an important aspect if the install in this video but I was hoping you could go a little deeper into the subject. The subject is how the power turns on as soon as the doors are opened. This signal is amplified as well and I'd like to be able to turn it down. It creates a stable white noise that isn't changed with volume adjustments. I have Forscan if that helps, but I'm hoping you could shed some light on the matter. I did have to disable the fake engine noise with Forscan and am hoping there is a setting to change. Thanks.
I've had other pros in your same field tell me that load generating devices aren't necessary on a non B&O f150 system. I've also heard that audio control doesn't even make one that produces the correct load for a Ford even if they did need one. Have you guys tried it with and without on an F-150?
I just had a 4 channel amp installed to after market infinity kappa door speakers. Not even a few hours later one speaker stop working then a few more hours of music playing two more went out. I thought blew the speakers. Got new infinity kappas installed and one worked and the other didn’t. Triple checked the wiring everything good. Messed with volume it would want to start playing all staticky and stop working again. And randomly one of the speakers that stopped working and haven’t replaced started working again. Turned volume up and down and got a third speaker to work that I didn’t replace yet worked for a minute then cut back out. What could the issue be
Old install. Can now get that clean pre-out with Forscan and soldering on RCAs directly to your speaker wire output. Couldn't ask for an easier cheaper system to integrate into.
@@javielitous if you have a base radio in a Ford. You can use Forscan to reprogram vehicles ACM to send out a 4 volt clean output like hooking up a Zen or Pac Pro to a premium system.
Dean, Does the Q Series amps not have the built in load for high level? I know that they added that feature to the KX series amps once they turned black, seems weird their premium option would have that removed.
Is there a way to keep the fake engine growl on the f150? I have a 2018 F150 with 501a package. That’s the B&O factory stereo with sub behind seat. I have an aftermarket amp powering my aftermarket sub added on and still have the factory sub behind driver side seat. I want to take factory sub out to make room for an amp rack to drive new door speakers. I actually want to keep the engine growl. I’m curious if the aftermarket sub amp could pick up that signal? I plan on adding an LC7i when I get the door speakers and amp.
@Five Star Car Stereo what would I need if I'm not running that amp but a skar 2500rms a skar 400 rms and a audio control epicenter. Would I need a dsp ? And if so how many channels
Hey guys not sure if a response will come but I will try anyways.... 2021 Telluride looking to add 8inch sub & amp to premium sx Hrmn&Kardn which has a sub already installed... can you tell me what I need for this process ... want stock mids/louder is this possible without upgrading door components ?
So would I need the LGD for a 2016 lincoln mkz? It has the 8” screen non branded. I have a dsr1 coming and I’m planning on installing deaf bonce 6.5 Sylvester’s and tweets on a deaf bonce ab400.4. If I do need the LGD would I need a set for front and rear?
Battery, engine block, or alternator ground is best. Frame has welds and rust that adds resistance. You have to remember, dc doesn't stop at ground point. It has to go through the frame or where it is grounded to get back to the power source. To complete the circuit.
No. It's not required. But they do add extra features, like running more than 6 channels (ie full active fronts plus rear speakers), more control over time alignment, more points to adjust on the eq etc.
Adding onto what Durham said, proper time alignment adds something special that I can't explain. If you've never had it, you won't care. Once you've had a system with proper time alignment, you can never go back.
Hi I have a 2022 f150 supercrew. Just curious on what the cost is to have something like this done if you don't mind saying. If you don't want to I understand.
For what it’s worth…. I love F150 vids
I love watching you guys do installs it's like a new TV show every time keep them coming please

👍🏾Great video! Like the old saying goes, "When you're having fun or enjoying something, time flies!" Those 47 minutes of video passed by quickly.
Seriously have never learned as much about how to do a car audio upgrade as I learned from this vid. Super well done.
The best car stereo installers on TH-cam!
I love the detail you guys put in your installs. Like amp installs and wiring and the attention to detail is superb.
Wow definitely one of the best car audio channels on TH-cam hands down!!! I wish you were in Dallas I would spend my money with you! Keep it up 👍

Such a clean install!
All in with labor what would this cost?
Great video! Would really like to see an install on a 21 Silverado 1500 w/o Bose. Looking to upgrade mine and still trying to figure it all out.

Is that the aftermarket harness your pulling apart or it came out of the factoy setup?
For the tweeter being wrong, check the wire color not the heat shrink. Thats y it was backwards
Do you have video on 2019 explorer xlt?
Does this install work for a 2022 F-150 with Sync 4 radio (no B&O, just the basic)?
Yo, maybe im just smooth brained, but Would you mind clarifying where the 2 sets of speed wire plug into?
What is the brand and model number of that rta ?

Where are you located at and what do you charge for install ?
Okay so where do I get this Axxess T harness?
Did you use a line output converter
Would this harness work with the 21? F350
Where in Fla. are you located?
If most manufactures dyno test their amps and were HONEST about the power ratings, all those amp dyno videos wouldn't be so popular.

The blue ac-lgd does not works on 2021 f150, power cuts at around 20 and smd dd1 always flash on distortion light.
