I have to say, I find the 5.1 mix to be lackluster as I did with the Gimme Some Truth box. The title track, I kept wondering if it was even in surround, had to turn up the rears to 8, they are normally on 5 but, then, it still felt like it wasn't "active" or "discreet". Some of the bonus material sounded like a better mix. Am I the only one ? I'm still enjoying it but, the extra wad of cash wasn't worth the games.
Since who’ next came out I’ve been monitoring the price. I caught it one time at $112 and bought it, and now it’s never been lower than 180, so hopefully this will fluctuate as well and then when it dips I’ll get the six CD Blu-ray set. Might be a long way but I’m sure I’ll catch it one time and that’s all I need. I’m about to sit down and listen to Pink Floyd animals in Atmos I got in the mail today, can’t wait to hear you review on this one…
What do you think about the up-coming release of David Bowie's Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust on Blu-ray in ATMOS ONLY without the 5.1 mix offered up in a up-coming release of a 6 disc set. Is the down-mix of ATMOS to 5.1 equal or better separation than the 5.1?
streaming for me,by the looks of it Apple music offers all the tracks in both Dolby Atmos and high-res lossless👍🏻

I’m hearing that the Elements mixes are cool. If they’re up on Apple Music I’ll try to check them out soon.

Just pre ordered the deluxe version.
It will be streaming for me, no value for money in the boxset just for the blu ray.
The 6CD 2 Blu ray boxset is $340 in Australia or I can stream it all.
Will be getting the 2LP vinyl though.
