Can’t believe the difference it makes highly recommend! Right after I pulled off noticed it .. even tho my diff bushing is in great shape still noticed the stiffness it provides.. great mod ppl !!!
I have to say I was considering going in a different direction as far as exhaust goes but this video has pointed me back towards the SCS Custom exhaust!
Need this for my manual swapped Q50. The wheel hop is definitely apparent in my car from a launch. My diff bushing is okay as of now. But, definitely sounds like a good upgrade!
theres going to be a little diff movement because there are bushings in the front of it. that being said, you should keep some movement in a street vehicle so it doesnt rattle the car apart and/or break the diff housing.
Much better than the first one you installed , maybe my next mod, as the car makes more power its little things like these mods that help. Great Video as always!!!
BMS burger tuning just released their rear diff braces for Q50/60. Looks better design than pride auto but i still prefer z1's. You should check it out see what you think of it
That alot of pressure for the diff bushing, soon the bushing need a replacement soon.. gotta pay to play. Luv the video! Once they come out with a diff bushing and a video installation then yeah.. I'll get the diff brace..
Just ordered mines after watching both yours and z1 video like what it provides and can’t wait till I get mines will do a dif oil change also thanks for your feed back on this product keep up with video post always watching love speed culture.
Gonna cop it , but gonna wait for your full review J , I’m interested to hear what your thoughts are on it after testing it since the last one you had was trash and didn’t look good especially because of the welds it had. want to add one to mines but gonna wait to hear your thoughts
the welds on the other brand were less of a problem than the tin foil it was made from. the other diff brace is too thin and flexible with an inferior mounting solution. that part was put out with little thought or understanding of how it needed to function.
Amazing video as usual man, your content is top notch. I ordered the Z1 brace for my 21 Q50 and can't wait to get it installed. How's the NVH since installing the brace?
I really appreciate that! The additional rigidity is quite apparent but I really haven’t noticed much in terms of vibration or unusual noises which is grea
What method and percentage of tail light tint did you go with, (shown in thumbnail), I’m looking to get mine done on my 2016 Red Sport. One shop does spray tint, can’t make a decision on that due to it being permanent. I’ve tried two methods of film, (cut outs and a large strip), neither of those worked well enough for me to do it.
It’s sprayed. 4 coats VHT. Wet sanded with 1500 grit. 6 coats clear. Wet sand 2000 grit. Polished and sealed. You can always sand through it to remove it. I prepped spray because you can get it much glossier and you can determine the level of tint
This brace, in combination with Z1 subframe collars, will have a huge impact on how the car feels and transfers power to the ground. I was quite surprised how snappy the car feels after install. You can feel the rigidity, but the tire response to the throttle seems much quicker as that energy is now not being absorbed through the rubber bushings quite as much.
does the left side have a different bend from the sway bar area to the flow fx? the dudes who did mine put it like on the diff and wanna change the piping to 2 inch so I’m going elsewhere for a re do on that side
@@SpeedCultureStudios the excuse was first because my stillen exhaust was 2 inch which was a blatant lie.. then he said my diff didn’t allow access. I notice your pipes are lower down on the differential than mine, he just plain messed up and I think I just plain chose the wrong shop.. I’m going elsewhere for better work

Car is tight, rides real good
I’m considering this diff brace but I’m afraid the “wonderful” Illinois roads will tear things up WAAAY before their time.
I bought the Z1 motorsport bushing and the Z1 bracket and it's made a hella difference on my AWD Q50 Sport...... I'm loving it
Definitely!

I’ve seen it and will probably make a quick video with my thoughts. I prefer Z1 also
BMS part is an inferior design. not nearly as terrible as the pride(less) part but not as robust as the Z1 part.
Dammit, wish I seen this one before I ordered from z1
I wonder how this would compare to a solid rear diff bushing, as they both seem to rigidly couple the diff to the rear subframe.
That alot of pressure for the diff bushing, soon the bushing need a replacement soon.. gotta pay to play. Luv the video!

Got one, up here in Indian Trail,NC
Nice, I’ll be picking one of these up now!
Excellent!
I want one for my Q60 but Dont know if it will hold up and not crack the Diff cover with Daily Driving over time.
It shouldn’t. The force comes from launching the car. There isn’t a whole lot of movement in the bushing under normal driving.

@@ryanmceachern6950 I had reviewed another diff brace awhile back. It’s no good
@@SpeedCultureStudios cool! So do you still have this on and still liking it?
Is this the thing that makes both tires spin in a burnout ? I got 16 rwd q50 and it only spins one tire on standing burnout
No. That’s an LSD. This is just a brace for the differential. Helps prevent wheel hop etc
Did you use the old bolts or the new ones? ***ASKING FOR ME AND A FRIEND**** part is coming in tomorrow and he already has his!! Thank you
I showed what bolts are used in the video. Z1 provides 3 bolts. You reuse the 2 bracket bolts.
Liking it! Im on the 19 RS trim and RWD. I figure this is much needed for what I have. What cons do you think this could have?
Rigid ride. If you make a lot of power and get good grip, it’s a lot of force on the diff cover and subframe.
Where exactly do you locate the jack stand for the rear😅
There are jack points on the pinch weld in front of the rear tire. Place the stands there.

My 14 Q50 has leaking rear diff. Just installed this instead of fixing it
It’ll help support but definitely isn’t a replacement for a bushing
Great review though J , keep up the great content !
Is the brace still on or did you take it off? In your opinion is it worth it?!?
Check out my last video! It’s still on!
Will this fit AWD Q?
Yes
Waitind to see is it worth buying video thanks love the vids and reviews
I’ll be filming a full review
Hi. With this mod you will transfer more rotation power to the subframe. May you think this should use together with subframe bushing bracket from Z1?
This brace, in combination with Z1 subframe collars, will have a huge impact on how the car feels and transfers power to the ground. I was quite surprised how snappy the car feels after install. You can feel the rigidity, but the tire response to the throttle seems much quicker as that energy is now not being absorbed through the rubber bushings quite as much.
@@SpeedCultureStudios thanks for your reply. What does exactly the "bushing leaks" mean? The bushing contains fluid?
@@Q50S_magic yes the bushing contains fluid. When the casing gets weathered and cracks, that fluid will leak out.
What about the rear diff leak, have you heard anything about that from Z1 motor sport
Supposed to be very soon

Comparison between Z1 and PrideAuto???
I sort of referred to that one in the video… but I could do an actual comparison video yes

Ooh good question!
What do you think for an awd, northeast (SNOW), daily driver 2014 Q50?
It would be fun!
I ordered it yesterday, thanx.
The Z1 brace definitely looks stronger than the Pride brace you installed before. Has the Z1 brace made a difference over the Pride brace?
The pride brace didn’t do anything. After testing it was found to be pretty worthless. The Z1 brace is very obvious. You can feel it immediately.
