Finally had a chance to sit down and listen to this, giving it the attention it deserves. I feel so bad for Marinette. She is going to go through a lot of pain, you can tell, before she get's to be happy again. I really hope they can find a way to sort out the city, and fix Adrien's reputation. This would have been such a confronting return for Adrien, especially having people spit at him, and having to deal with the reporters unaided. I hope he is mentally strong enough to work through it, especially while Marinette is working through her emotions and he doesn't have her support!
Even though I'm disappointed in Adrien for leaving Marinette the way that he did, the reception he received in this chapter kept breaking my heart. 😢 But I love how realistic his reactions were, and I am seriously hoping that he can fix things in the end. This is gonna be amazing, Miss Clark. I can see it! ❤❤❤
Oh this was amazing I am obsessed with Adrian and marinette as toddlers sooo adorable 🥰 I can’t wait to hear the next chapter to see how marinette and the rest of them will react to see him back
Oh my goodness! That idyllic childhood scene. Knowing they were so happy and everything was so perfect. We knew in their present they are both hurting but the extra twist of learning that EmiIie died soon after Adrien started preschool. And then he was removed from the place where he had a friend and potentially access to some mild counseling resources. I feel like Alya's reception towards Adrien shows her in a very empathetic light. She understands why Adrien had to leave and she understands how much that hurt Marinette and she understands that while Marinette is still not over the way he left her without word or explanation that she still loves him. And goodness wonder what happened to Chris and that's affected Nino's relationship with Adrien. Maybe Chris got mixed up in or involved with Gabriel's criminal activities? Adrien's really ready to own up to what he did to Marinette if he's planning to go to that gala, knowing she'll be there. Like it's very public and things could get nasty but he's gonna face it anyway. Great job, Haze! Looking forward to what the next chapter will bring us.

I know I’m late but oh my goodness that was lovely and your voice damn ngl since I haven’t listened to it for a while it’s like so relaxing to finally come back to this and I love how it’s like a whole change and it’s so different from the actual show and how like Mari is as an adult and she’s still saving the city even tho it’s become such a different place from before and like the details and how it’s so… sad and that just makes it more emotional and that is so beautiful and written so beautifully and oh my I did almost sob when hearing about adrien and right then I knew this is gonna be such an amazing audio fic
I love the chapter.😍 It's so well written. THIS is a reason why it was worth learning English. Now the fic: the story from Adrien's perspective - genius.🤩 And the flashback scene left me sobbing. 🥹The chubby cheeks. I'm totally in LOVE. ❤️ Adrien's whole emotional journey is greatly executed and powerful. And the boiler room has its place too. 😊 A wonderful parallel to the resistance (in a French accent🤣) from the actual show! The same thing with the oxygen tower... But why does Adrien have a snow globe of Shanghai?🤔 Does it have a deeper meaning (but maybe I'm interpreting too much into it)? And what on earth happened to Chris👀? The only thing I dislike is Adrien's hairstyle, sorry Haze... Overall, a very beautiful story! I can't wait to read the next chapter.✨️😘
