@@Liz_Lizzie123 oblivious doensn't mean stupid. adrien is able to speak 3 languages, has the best marks in all of his classes and can understand morse code. Adrien is only oblivious due to having zero social interactions as a child.
I love it, it made me grin the whole time! Struggling to fathom Adrien with braincells at the end there, but seriously the fic was top notch and it was cool learning some Mandarin along the way - and learning that there is no way in hell I'll ever manage to learn it, I cannot control the pitch of my voice that well 😂

Tones are TOUGH and pronunciation is REALLY TOUGH when you first start out honestly!

Wow nice❤️ and um...I'm Chinese and you did pretty well😀, the prononunciations weren't exactly on point(especially for the 3rd tone), but it's okay, many people learning chinese aren't on point with their pronounciations either (and interestingly, you speak Chinese better when it's in a full sentence than when it's a phrase in an English sentence)
Also, side note:
When you have two 3rd tones for two consecutive characters, then the first character is automatically changed to second tone so take note of that for 你好 but I don't think it really matters in speech because it kind of comes naturally once you get used to chinese (you spoke it correctly anyways😁)
All in all, good job and I can't wait for the next part!😊💖(thanks for following up on Adrien saying he'll teach Marinette Mandarin🤗)

ok, i feel the need to say this because i think people will find it funny. so yesterday i drew a ladybug mask on my face and put all of this makeup on to make a ladybug mask. and i was doing this all to test out miraculous logic. after i did the mask, i texted my friend from my ipad instead of my phone because i have a different email on my ipad. i sent her a picture of me with the mask and asked to guess who it was. at first she was confused and sent this: “hmmm” “???” so then i was was like “OMG MIRACULOUS LOGIC WORKS” and then she said “you’re bristol?” and then i was like “crap it doesn’t work” so anyways i learned that miraculous logic KINDA WORKS. shocking i know😂😂💀
