That’s exactly what I read about why the day was changed from Saturday to Sunday.
Even though JESUS WAS JEWISH completely…..they wanted to move away from the Jewish traditions or anything that the Jews did at that time, so the changed it to Sunday….a pagan gods name “SUN god” SUNday…..even our days of the week are named after pagan gods Thursday (Thors day) etcetc. I have gone back to Friday from Sunset until Saturday at sundown! I light candles etc….I feel GREAT about it. Excellent video!!!!! 🙏❤️🤗

Mr. Jim Staley says at aprox 5:30 mins in: "Did you know that even the Gentiles are expected to keep the sabbath in the NT..." No, I didn't know that. Where? Thats not in Acts 15:21.
Acts 15:21 the subject of the sentence is "Moses." The action part of the sentence is "has had throughout many generations preach him (Moses) in every city" ... so, I would paraphrase that verse to say: Moses, (subject) has had the "law of Moses" preached in every city, by being read in the synagogues every Sabbath." ... ? ... Where is the word for Gentiles in that verse? The old covenant law was only for the Jews and those living with them (2Chr 6:11 the LORD made the Covenant with the Children of Israel, Not the World, or in Deut 5:3 Only those "here" at Mt Horeb). So, when it was preached, it was not for Gentile believers not living with the Jews. (Ninevites in the book of Jonah for example ) Imagine if the commandment, not to build a fire on the Sabbath, was given to the Eskimos?) And since it is making a statement on what HAS happened in the past; where does it say it's for Gentiles in the New Covenant (NC)? If someone makes the Statement: "Hitler taught that killing the Jews was the will of God." Are they agree or disagreeing with Hitler? It doesn't say. ... Its just stating a fact. Hitler taught... Same with Acts 15:21. It says nothing except that, Moses had the Law of Moses taught in Synagogues on the Sabbath. You are Extrapolating the text.
You are telling New Covenant gentile Christians that they are expected to keep the Sabbath. My dear friend, for your own wellbeing, ... You better be careful to be standing on the WORD of GOD, not your own private interpretation of a verse that you have add content to, to get it to say what you want it to say. Where in the Bible are NC gentile Christians expected to keep the Sabbath, like you said? ... If not, my dear friend, you are violating Deut 4:2 and Rev 22:19. Acts Chapter 15 plainly instructs NC Christians that Circumcision is not required (the sign of the Abrahamic Covenant), and only the four listed things are brought into the NC.@@truebeliever81

the Sabbath was kept in all the NT as well as the OT. if It weren't, it would have been clearly noted, since the God who doesn't change, didn't change.
and interestingly too - Sabbath will still be kept by those who go to Heaven (Matt 19:17, Rev 22:14) and those who will be in Heaven - Isaiah 66:22-23

The formula of "keeping the Sabbath holy" remains a covenant, but you need an event that determines your counting. Two known events in the bible determine the Sabbath. 1. Creation - determined the seventh day - which in the days of Jesus fell on Saturday. 2. Deliverance or Redemption - this event determined the seventh day falling on Sunday - brought about by the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. That is why disciples worshipped Him on Sunday Matthew 11:28. Also Pentecost fell on Sunday. Jesus is God.

These texts in Colossians 2: 14-17 are speaking of the ceremonial laws being nailed to the Cross. The Ten Commandments were NEVER called Handwritings of ordinances which were contrary to us or against us.
The ceremonial laws were the sacrifice of animals for sins, Feast days, meat a drink offerings connected with the feast days, the ceremonial sabbath days, which were yearly, on different days of the week because they were controlled by the New Moon. The seventh day Sabbath was never called sabbath day(s), nor written in lowercase or with an s plural, they were never said to be against us or contrary to us, never called ordinances. The Ten Commandment’s are eternal, including the seventh day Sabbath. The ceremonial laws were contained in the Book of the Law written by Moses, the Ten Commandments were written by the finger of God.
The ceremonial laws contained in the Book of the Law were placed in the side of the Ark of the Covenant
Take this Book of the Law, and put it in the side of the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. Deuteronomy 31: 26(the same lingo as Colossians 2:14) the Ten Commandments were placed inside of the Ark of the Covenant along with a golden bowl of manna, and Aaron’s Rod that budded, they are eternal.
But the ceremonial laws were place on the outside to show they were taken away, no longer to be kept, because Jesus was the sacrifice that was slain, and fulfilled the animal sacrifices, feast days, meat and drink offerings, and the ceremonial sabbath days.
All throughout the Old and New Testament it says to keep the Ten Commandment’s, all Ten, including the Sabbath. You break one you break them all. James 2: 10.
Sin is transgression of the Law. 1 John 3:4
The Bible says we will be judged by the Law of Liberty ( Ten Commandments) , James 2 even quotes a couple so you know what commandments he is referring to.
If you love Me Keep My Commandments. John 14:15
He that hath My Commandment’s, AND KEEPETH THEM, he it is that LOVETH ME: and he it is that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him. John 14: 21
      Read also Matthew 19:17
      1 John 2: 3-5, Revelation 22: 14
      Revelation 12: 17
At the end of Revelation 12: 17 says the Remnant Church keep the Commandment’s of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. The Bible interprets it’s. Revelation 19: 10 says the Testimony of Jesus Christ, is the Spirit of Prophecy. Only one Church that has that.
These were a shadow of things to come-the crucifixion. Jesus fulfilled all of these. Circumcision was done away too, instead of literal circumcision, circumcision was of the heart.
      Romans 2: 28,29
All those that believe in Christ are now spiritual Israel, Romans 9: 6-8, Galatians 3: 26-29

Hi Jim, I'm Tom. I don't understand. I love you guys. But I'm worried for you. Here was my reply.
Acts Chapter 15 plainly instructs NC Christians that Circumcision is not required (the sign of the Abrahamic Covenant), and only the four listed things are brought into the NC.
Galatians chapter 4 plainly says the "Mount Sini Covenant" ... and to "Cast out" the Mount Sini Covenant.

"For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works."
This passage of Scripture clearly evidences the fact that the Sabbath Day was only symbolic of a person's faith (i.e., solely resting) in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. Mankind attempted to work his way to Heaven through self-righteousness, but he utterly failed (Romans 3:19; James 2:10). This is represented by man working 6-days prior to the Sabbath Day. Today, Jesus is our Sabbath, i.e., He is the fulfillment of what the Sabbath Day symbolized.
In Christ we solely and completely rest for salvation. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, He was buried, and He resurrected from the dead three days later according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. This is the gospel (good news) message that brings salvation to them that believe (Romans 1:16). Colossians 2:16,17 state, "...or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come..." A shadow is only cast when the sun is afar off in the distance. Once the sun rises overhead, the shadow vanishes away. Hence, when Jesus Christ fulfilled His earthly mission, He took the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross (Colossians 2:14). There is NO Sabbath Day today. It was nailed to the cross. Jesus has become our Sabbath, and in Him alone we rest for our salvation.
As you'll learn from the following passage of Scripture, the Sabbath was indeed a picture of Jesus Christ, Who is our Sabbath today in Whom we completely rest for salvation. Hebrews 4:10, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”
Anyone who adds observing or honoring the Sabbath Day as a requirement to get to Heaven is putting forth a FALSE plan of salvation. Adding human effort to the gospel horribly corrupts the plan of salvation. You cannot experience the new birth unless you acknowledge that you are a guilty sinner in God's eyes (Romans 3:19), and receive the gospel (good news) of Christ's death on the cross for your sins, His burial, and His bodily resurrection from the dead three days later (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).

"Bear in mind that the LORD has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out.”
Note that I follow this channel, the only thing I have to say is that. It is not meant to challenge or publicly hummiliate, we are all humans. Overall, this was an outstanding teaching.

Are you suggesting that Exodus 16:29 forbids us from leaving our houses in general? If so, then that's simply not the case. The context is clearly that of not leaving your house in the search of Manna. If not, then I'm not exactly sure what you mean.

Amen 🙏 just a comment that I’m sure many people consider. How is it possible that the pastors, ministers and clergy doesn’t teach this? Here is what I think to myself: how can it be possible that these great men of God Almighty don’t
know these scriptures? To me it’s impossible these men of great fervent gospel fire wouldn’t be convicted by the Shekinah Glory to know the difference between the days. This video is short and it can go much deeper into why we keep the Shabbat and why it was changed and what it worships. That’s not necessarily important but to understand why men like Vodi Bachmann,
David Wilkerson, many many many more don’t know or worse they know but are deceiving us. Wouldn’t that be a complete head spin? I think about this all the time and I really don’t want to believe it but what else can you think? The Holy Spirit would not allow a true man of the Almighty to be deceived! Satan came to kill steal and destroy and if he is in control of this men that would blow my mind I just would be speechless yet what else could it be? Man it hurts me to even consider this! So what do we do about this? Do you stop listening to this sun worshippers that speak in what seems to be bold truth! What am I missing here? There are some pastors that you can easily see that are apostate, then there are others that just completely make you think what is wrong with my thinking. Ok well that is pretty much my comment. All glory to the most high Yeshua Hamashiach! Peace be with thee 🕊🌾🙏

Then I think maybe I’m wrong but I look for it in scripture and I can’t find it? Ok brother appreciate you peace to yoi

Great Question! So let me answer you this way. Did you know there are over 45000 different religions in Christianity? Yet there is only one Word of God! Each one has there own church doctrine. Why is that when there is only one Word? Study the history of the church and you will find a lot of changes man has done. You will also find that millions over the ages were persecuted if they spoke up and disagreed with the church.

@@suganemmenaul You said at least four things that are wrong:
1.) The Sabbath is not for Jews. It's for EVERYONE who's in Covenant with God, including you!
Isaiah 56:6-7 NKJV "Also the sons of the foreigner (NON-JEWS) Who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, And to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants- 👉Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,👈 And holds fast My covenant- (7) Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations."
2.) You're right, you're not under the Old Covenant, you're under the New Covenant, which means that Yah's Laws (His Torah) is written in your mind and on your heart. So then, how is it that you suppose that the Torah doesn't include the Sabbath? Particularly so when you consider that the Sabbath is one of the TEN Commandments, NINE of which you keep! Thus, your "I’m not in the old covenant" contention is 90% self-defeating right from the very start, at least as far as the Sabbath is concerned!
Hebrews 8:10 NRSV This is the [New] covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws [Torah] in their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(And, oh, BTW: If you're in Christ then YOU are Israel. I can prove that too!)
3.) Why do you suppose that any particular Commandment has to be explicitly repeated in the New Testament in order to be valid? Where do the Scriptures tell you that? Nonetheless, let say for the sake of argument that the Sabbath Commandment isn't explicitly repeated, because it's actually not. But, then again, keep in mind that neither is the Commandment to not have sex with animals. So, do you really want to go there? Moreover, the fact of the matter is that NONE of the first four Commandments (of the TEN) are explicitly repeated. So, do you think that you can also have other Gods? Make idols? Or use the Lord's Name in vain? Of course, not!
4.) The Scriptures say that Yah's Commandments are not a burden. Though, it would seem that you currently think otherwise. I said "currently" because hopefully you are a truth seeker, which would mean that you would welcome sound correction. I guess we'll see.
1 John 5:3 NKJV For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And 👉His commandments are not burdensome.👈
Mark 2:27 NKJV And He said to them, "The Sabbath was made 👉for man👈, and not man for the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 NKJV "If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, 👉And call the Sabbath a delight,👈 The holy day of the LORD honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words,
      Shalom

      @@suganemmenaul _"I’m not a Jew."_
What does that have to do with the Sabbath? Are you suggesting that the Sabbath is only for "Jews". If so, then you are mistaken:
Isaiah 56:6-7 NKJV "Also the sons of the foreigner Who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him, And to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants- 👉Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath👈, And holds fast My covenant- (7) Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations."
The Sabbath is for anyone in Covenant with the Most High.
_"And I’m not in the old covenant."_
Of course you're not under the Old Covenant, and nether am I. But, again, what does that have to do with the Sabbath? Being under the Law of Christ (AKA: The New Covenant) simply means that God's Laws (His Torah) is written in your mind and on your heart. So then, just why do you suppose that the Sabbath is not one of those Laws? Particularly in light of the fact that it's one of the TEN Commandments, NINE of which you keep!
_"show me in NT scripture where it’s says i should keep the sabbath?_
Are you suggesting that a Commandment of God must be specifically reiterated in the NT to be valid? Where do the Scriptures say any such thing? They don't, because that's not true. And, mind you, this Commandment is also not specifically reiterated in the NT:
Leviticus 18:23 NKJV Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion.
Surely, you're not going to suggest that we can that, are you?
_"Till that you trying to deceive me by putting burden on me."_
1 John 5:3 NKJV For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.

In frustration, my wife and I have been seeking and trying to find a church. I know you will understand this when I say a church like Philadelphia in Revelation. A church with Hebrew roots not just Jewish roots. A church that that's not afraid of throwing meat on the plate. Trust me, they are few and far between. It seems we're living in the church age I called churchianity Scripture calls it the age of or church of Laodicea, and we must try to overcome that church. So it's been very difficult. But as I was praying and seeking the Father's heart on the subject. The next thing I know I was watching your video. The set apart of Spirit of YHVH lead me to your teaching and it gave me hope. I'm not sure what part of the country you're in but I'm in Phoenix Arizona hoping you have a satellite church out here. If not, we will be watching you every Shabbat. Pray for us, as the world is getting darker and darker. Help us to shine brighter and brighter in Yeshua Hamashiach Name.
Quick question, I believe we've been living in the last days for 2000 years. I also understand in the scripture the church will fall away in the last days. I often point to 321 A.D. and Constantine decree to make Christianity the official religion of Rome as the starting point of that falling away. Your thoughts?

We were never supposed to be separated from to covenant with YHWH made to Israel, but we are not Jews. We love and respect our older brothers and the desire of our heart is to be united again. but the way to do that, like it is written in the prophecy, is in the Messiah's hand. We are not looking to turn ourselves into Jews but into Israel, where there is space for 12 different tribes. Don't forget they are just 2 of the 12. I hope this makes our perspective clearer for you. Blessings!

It is clear that the Sabbath was a sign to Israel of the mosaic covenant (Exodus 31, 16-17, Ezekiel 20,12, Nehemia 9,14) Since we are now under the new Covenant (Hebrew 8) we are no longer required to observe the sign of the mosaic covenant .
The new Testament never commands us Christians to observe the Sabbath.
When the Apostles met in Jerusalem (Acts 15) they did NOT impose Sabbath keeping on the Gentiles believers.
There are no evidence in the bible of anyone keeping the Sabbath before the time of Moses.
So here are just a few reasons that we christians don't have to observe the Sabbath. If you will do that, do it. But you can't say that it is wrong if we don't.

He already read the passage on Acts, watch it again. Jesus already told during his ministry he did not come to abolish the Laws and until heaven and earth had not passed not even a title or yod shall be abolished.
If you are using Paul's writing
      Collosians 2:16
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath.
He was talking to the new convert gentiles, who will judge them? Of course those who were outside the congregation(non-converts) not those inside already who will judge them.
Jesus warned those who call him Lord and doing miracles on his name but doing LAWLESSNESS (non doer of the Law).
      Read Deut 18:18-20.

When the Israelites got the manna they weren't allowed to pick up the seeds for two days only on the 6th day. They should pick up seeds for two days because of the Sabbath. When Jesus run around with his disciples, the disciples were picking up wheat from the field, because they were hungry. The thing is that day it was Sabbath.
