New PUMP FOIL VIDEOS every MONDAY and SATURDAY at 7:30 PM UTC
If you don't have a Foil Drive or an e-foil, then the only way to get started with pump foiling is by Dock Starting. If you don't know how to get on the board you cannot pump, right? So isn't it better to focus on Dock Starting only so that then you can focus on learning the proper Pumping Technique? Well, this video explains how you can go from 1 successful start out of 10 trials, to 9/10, then 10/10. Enjoy.
In this series, I’m documenting my journey into pump foiling with the goal of helping beginners like me return to the dock, pump longer and further in any condition, and start from anywhere, so that in a near future we’ll unlock together the full potential of this discipline and explore the beauty of the world on our tiny body-powered boards.
    Current set up:
    - Board: 2020 North Scoop 120x46x4.5cm 15.3L
    - Mast: Axis 19mm Aluminium 82cm
    - Fuselage: Axis Red Short Fuselage 680mm
    - Front Wing: Axis PNG 1310
    - Rear Wing: Axis 460 Pump

Great tips. I am working on the doc start and glide and yes, getting the feet on the right place is the most difficult part of the doc start.

Thanks for the video..still struggling with mount on the board using your method (bobsled run). As I run, keep the board level, hop on, place my back foot, the tail starts to sink even before I have time to put my front foot. Repeatedly. I was told by expert to move mast forward. I weigh 68 kg. use Liquid Force Nebula 4’2” w/ Axis PnG 1150/460 & 64 Fuse. I wish to be able to send you my clips, so you can analyse. Ciao…

Love your videos. I see the Naish jet HA in the background. Could you do a video comparing it to your Gong stuff for pumping? Thank you

Unfortunately I don't have it anymore, but it was much thinner, much faster, and much harder to start. I don't recommend the Naish Jet HA for pump foiling.

@@gaeldaniele thanks for the reply! I have the 1440 and the 1240 which I use for winging and prone foiling. In the near future I will have to move to somewhere with no waves for a while 😭. So will aim to take up pump foiling while there. Thank you for the info. I will maybe look into the Gong Sirius as I do some SUP already anyway and would like to flat water paddle up. Thanks again 🤙

@@kiterJ Great option! pumping will help you improve in wing, prone and SUP for when you come back in your actual spot! Good luck and feel free to ask if you have any questions
