thanks for the vid. im and old school painter .car restorer for 45 years. back in the 80s when we did metalflale it was a lot bigger flake you had to have a agitator spay gun top feed guns didnt exist at the time, we used urethanebased imron aircraft paint for the base you could get a few colors back then but no factory matched colors, the flake was so big you had to put 4 coats of clear over the flake just to be able to sand it . then water sand .then put more clear on it again. todays painters have it made to what we used to do . nontheless good work man you are a good painter and body man best of luck from north carolina

There is definitely a need for you up here in the small town I live in in Montana. We have a couple shops but all they do is insurance work and 1 shop charges 30-50k for restoration, just body work and paint. We have an abundance of the real old school hot rods and trucks. If you weren’t so far away I would send a 66 short box Chevy to ya.

The car needed to be sanded down and repainted, another winter or two including those salted roads would have eaten the classic up. I think the body work and paint looks marvelous. I really like those rims & tires combo, they fit the cars style.

Looking great, I would have trouble following wet line hard to see. I was guessing that was why you had light on the paint gun. I tried to shoot metal flake with paint I failed because I wanted test what the o reilly paint department said. They said it would sink they was right. They did recommend putting it in the clear so it would float. I do not know about every single tool even after years working in shop but i did see flake guns have different mm sizes like 2.5. real big flake be on that 3.0mm. The paint will have that ride popping for sure looks great as always. At least will little clear run light sand it and do not burn through is a positive even with little ding, It never ends lol and you said it never can it just be 100%
