How To Groom Papillon Dogs

Someone once commented that my Papillon Dogs must have just been to the groomers. They had not, Papillons are just naturally elegant. This video shows how to do an ordinary grooming while show dogs would undergo a more thorough regime. I do not have my Papillons trimmed, as I prefer the "natural" look.
I really like the bristle-pin brush that I use, but they are hard to find! The only one I could find online is a "porcupine" brush from PetSmart. I purchased mine at Rens, but they no longer carry them.
The toothpaste and eye-wipes are from the vet, and the other products are readily found.

Wonderful to see such gentle care and advice. I must start this routine from day 1 now with my new butterfly. My last one would scream and bite if I tried to groom him and yet not a murmur when the groomer did it!

My three are not fond of being brushed. Luc quite hated it when he was a pup. Brushing regularly before it gets out of control is the best way, although I sometimes wait too long :)
