I have this site on my site because it's the nicest conversion I have ever seen on you tube. Having done this to my tractor I can really appreciate the work that went into this tractor
That is amazing! your work and ingenuity are awesome. I have the skills and education to do something like that but not the ambition, which is 90% of the battle... One thing I might mention, the hydraulic fittings you used are pipe fittings. They work fine but they are not rated for that kind of pressure. Real hydraulic fittings are machined and a lot more expensive, but also a lot safer...
These require alot of work and good skill. I'm a Cub Cadet fan myself. But I know that neither my 782 nor my 3235 are big enough to handle the stress of dirt work. It will destroy axles, destroy frames and work so slowly you'll get bored and tired long before the work is done.
FanFlipinTastic! How long did it take and over what period of time? I hope you don't mind me asking the following question here as I think this is THE spot where those in the know would have valuable opinions: I have a 782 Hydro (1981 ish) and a Sears 19.9 GT W/ a 3 speed Hi and Low standard (Year unknown 1980's?). Which would you(everyone) think I should build something like this on? Thanks and thanks for putting this one out there! It is a nice boost (kick in the butt)!
