Here is our modified cub cadet backhoe. the engine as you can, has alot to lug thru and bogs down but it needs a major rebuild. it burns oil an has alot of blowby. it still does the job.
Looks like he's using square or rectangle tube for the front axle with some bushings welded on each end, probably fabricated knucles and then just weld on trailer spindles. I'm thinking about at least replacing the knuckles on my 149 when doing the FEL, but now I'm wondering if I should replace the whole axle. Hydraulic power steering is definitely a goal for me. I'm assuming/hoping I can just find a hydraulic steering valve with high pressure power beyond and be good, can't remember what I found last time when I looked into hydraulic steering.
