- An Onalaska man was pulled over by an unmarked police car for tailgating. It was later discovered he had violated a domestic-abuse injunction against a woman. He denied stalking the woman, claiming he didn’t know where she lived, and drives through the area near her house to go to a nearby park, where he reads in his vehicle.
Inderberg was charged with stalking, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and knowingly violating a domestic-abuse injunction, all as a repeat offender.

As a man, I will never understand stalking and harassing a woman who had made it clear she wants nothing to do with you. I hate rejection just as much as anyone else. But it's easier to move on and try and find someone else. Mad respect to these officers. I wouldn't have been as patient with the suspect like the officers were.

I was in an abusive situation for a while until I gathered the strength to get out. Didn't realize what the aftermath would be. It wasn't until almost 20 years later when I found out he was dead that I hadn't breathed that sigh of relief! 20 years!

I'm 53 now but when I was 16, I had a male stalker. I just got my driver's license and he asked me out. I told him I already had a boyfriend and he freaked out on me. He would stalk me everywhere and even tried to run me off the road on the highway. I went directly to our local state police station. I told the officers what was happening and that I did write down his license plate. The officer told me they knew him well and he was currently being investigated for the disappearance of a young girl. I was terrified!! Thank God he ended up in prison for life not long after but let me tell you, that state trooper was my best friend for that short time. He told me to call him day or night until he could get this dirt bag. He really helped me mentally and physically, I have a deep respect for our officers!! Thank you for all you do♥️💯, you are deeply appreciated ♥️

Years ago there was a woman who moved into a downstairs apartment in a house across the street from us. We later found out that she had just gotten out of the hospital after her ex beat her. He was in jail but had friends and family follow her, so he knew where she moved. About a month after she moved in, he got out of jail on bond and broke into her place through the front door. She was standing across the room with a shotgun and killed him. She was not charged, but later did move again, making sure no one was following her.

I sold cars at the time and because we were in Minnesota we still required insurance before the new cars left the lot.

Being stalked sucks. I have been stalked 3 times. The last time was by a pyscho woman who worked at the same place i did. She chased me in my car until i drove to the police dept. I went to the cops multiple times and a judge. The judge told me she had to physically hurt me before they could do anything.
I quit my job and moved away.
The worst part is i am good now but when i see that behavior in other people it brings the defense mechanism in me back to the surface.

When I had 11 months clean about 5 years ago I got pulled over and the cops were convinced I was high. Finally when they found nothing they told me “people tell us they’re clean all the time, it’s hard to know when they’re telling the truth”. I said “idk about them, but I never stutter on my clean date or how long I’ve been clean” it’s always a pretty obvious giveaway when people say “oh idk about 3 months” lol

I remember it was not Halloween, but the celebration of Halloween so like the 27th or 28th of October 2018(give or take a day) was the last time I got drunk... I assure I am not lying but I don't know the exact date.

Congratz on the sobriety. Honestly I disagree about the stuttering thing, it all depends on the individual's way of talking. Almost 4 years clean now.

I really try not to judge victims in these circumstances. She's holding a home and a job down. Most tweakers I've seen aren't that stable, especially for years.

Feelings may or may not develop over time but there is definitely a strong draw between them as they can more easily justify their habits/addictions. I struggle to think of any interaction with an LEO I've had where they were professional and did not lie or commit a crime. Where I'm from their go-to technique is to harrass random people and say "We know you did it, why don't you just tell us about it?" and if you ask "Did what?" suddenly their mom is calling them and they have to go.
LEOs don't get enough recognition for what they do. Thank you LEOs for what you do. Prayers for your safety.

I once had a stalker, they're not fun to deal with but managed to have him arrested when he was stealing my mail and had a restraining order placed on him. He obviously broke that order and ended up sitting in prison.
Imagine being a cop and having to deal with people like this 24 / seven. The amount of time and resources these people take up and the ratio that they actually give back to society is so frustrating.
I actually do imagine being a cop & I'm so glad there are other people who are invested in that job because I couldn't do it.

They can't be. They are not the judge and they are not supposed to take sides. Technically stalking isn't illegal until they starts taking pictures of the person in their own home or on privet property without the owner's permission. Everything out in public is public domain so taking pictures is ok. Following someone is ok.
It is messed up that that is why it is hard to get stalking charges done and why officers really can't do anything.
@@jessicapearson9479 stalking is certainly a crime here in the states with things like following someone, harassing them, taking unwanted pictures, possibly threatening them all compile on each other to produce criminal stalking. While it is true you can follow a famous person and take photos so long as they aren't a minor/afraid for their life on the US regular citizens are entitled to some degree of privacy and things like restraining orders just make the act criminal faster than it would be otherwise
