I grew up with a sister like this. Pathalogical liar, sociopath. And when held to account, punished for her actions, she came back with a vengeance every single time, intent on making everyone's life miserable who was involved with punishing her. I haven't spoken to her since 2019 when she made false reports about me to police to try to have my kids taken away, yet she still tries her best to make my life miserable.
Point being, people like this are not uncommon.

Same. She should be able to relax and enjoy the rest of her life. So many grandparents and parents have had their retirement years ruined by family members like this. They lie and lie, play the role of a little angel and tell them everything they want to hear. Been through this myself and im so sick of these people.
To the idiots - Stop feeling sorry for yourselves, stop blaming whatever mental illness buzzword you can come up with, and take responsibility for your lives and actions.
And to the parents/grandparents of people like this - STOP enabling them. You are part of the problem. If they refuse to get their crap together then let them discover what rock bottom truly feels like. They will either push themselves back up or stay there with the pressure of the world bearing down on them for the rest of their lives. Nothing you can do about it but protect yourself from them.
