Mom saying “there’s no way” when asked about this woman’s drug use. I’ve heard family members deny a defendants addiction so many times. Over and over and over. Happens all the time. If this woman is an addict she needs to voluntarily make the decision to enter and stay in treatment. She doesn’t want to go to treatment and she’s able to make her own decisions in regards to her life.
People lie all the time. And the mother very openly admitted that her daughter has multiple problems. But like any parent with a child they love, it's easier for her to assign responsibility and guilt to someone else. Partially because admitting her daughter is in the wrong means that she might have failed as a parent.
I love the way the sheriff/officer keeps talking about the daughter and her issues, while the MIL keeps speaking ill will about the husband and what she thinks he is doing butnot about her daughter's opiod problem
I love how the sister's like "i have video proof of him laying his hands on her three days ago!" *Proceeds to scroll furiously and then changes the subject because there's actually no video"
I think she showed him something, the video was edited, at 16:02 it goes from her scrolling like a madman to a clip of him handing the phone back to her. He doesn't say anything about whatever it was that he saw and instead begins talking about her giving the kids back to him so I'm assuming that it wasn't great evidence.
Sounds like she's feeding her family a bunch of BS so she can keep her addiction going. I was an opioid addict for 10 years, I'm 5 years clean now. I would've told anyone anything to keep going.
that grass in her mouth is the last bit of control she has in that situation, that's why she won't spit it out. she has the emotional maturity of a toddler
When I heard another EX I thought oh that figures and other kids with another man she drove away and isn’t or can’t take care of. She is not only a psycho but a cliche too!
I work in psychiatry, so this is all too familiar for me. Every addict has an enabler in the background, and anyone that tries to make them take responsibility for their own choices is automatically the villain to them. The mom and sister are just delusional.
Well that's bs. Someone's family shouldn't matter if you love them. People can't help who they're related to. Sadly, lots of people have f*cked up families.
You will not be marrying into my family, my rules were simple, I won't date or meet anyone until I'm in a situation where I won't be the one subjecting them to people like
Not always. Most of my extended family have never met my spouse, and both I and my partner are fine with that. For context she is African American while I am white, and a large chunk of my family is blatantly racist. Some even “disowned” me when we got married. No loss really, but my point is that you don’t always have to feel forced into a family just cause you married someone.
The sister is just as crazy as the wife, if not more crazy Her family is making everything so much worse. Blaming the husband instead of accepting that the wife is a mess
Wow this doesn’t seem the right away around at all. I don’t think we know any part of the true story. Why doesn’t Mom take her daughter to live with her????
Quite the contrary. Being single as a wise adult is liberating. Trust me when I say there are many men who would die to be in your position rather than be a slave to some biatch like this. Getting away from people like this is like getting out of prison. Or being freed from a pow camp. It's the same feeling. Apathy syndrome. Husband is experiencing apathy syndrome.
As a man that went through domestic violence this video brought me joy that this man is getting help. My wife abused me verbally and mentally. When I reached out to my local department and tried to show them recordings I had she stated I hit her. The cops did not care for my recordings and imprisoned me. I went through depression and became suicidal. Thank you officers for doing a great job!
Dude for real. I did a week in jail when i was arguing (not heatedly) with my wife outside when she dropped the vacuum wand (avoidance cleaning the van) started screaming bloody murder, turned on her heels and ran into the house, locking herself inside with the kids. I was outside the door. Dumbfounded like wtf…I wasn’t even upset yet. Then I hear her upstairs screaming into the phone (kiddos window was open and they were terrified) to the police that I threatened to kill her and I was beating the door down and trying to throw rocks through the window. 5 cruisers show up. See all intact windows. Door, unmolested. Me crying at the front door after seeing the cops, because I had never been so betrayed. They treated me like an animal. For a week. I had no money. No phone numbers. No underwear. Advised to just plead guilty to the judge on the little screen as I wore the psycho-Gumby suit. With sudden interruption of my psych meds. No one gave AF. Didn’t matter that nothing she said made sense. I was a veteran getting psychological help so I probably did it, ya know?
If Mom is so worried over her being drugged by him why doesn't she take her daughter into her home? Mom doesn't want the responsibility of daughter and her drug use.
Girl I was just thinking that. If she’s so worried about that man hurting her daughter then why leave her with him? Why isn’t her adult daughter living with her and helping take care of the grandkids? Imagine thinking it’s a good idea to blame the sober spouse for the addicts decisions. Crazy.
The wife is clearly on meth and is extremely paranoid. She tells her Mom and sister her paranoid ideas (caused from meth) and they 100% believe her. I feel bad for the husband that all i can say.
could be meth, could be genetic mental disorders + meth. my dad had similar paranoid thoughts sober & high. he had bipolar disorder & would say things like my mom would take all of his shoes out of state in the middle of the night to some warehouse, have the seams messed with, and bring them back before he wakes up so his shoes would bother him. he’d think someone stole his jacket to stretch it out on purpose so it’d be too big. he told me & my brother growing up that the government watches us through the tv when the black border appears on the screen, and instilled that paranoia into us. we were in middle school when we realized you can zoom in & out to create the border or make it disappear so he had to be lying to us lol. that’s just some of what he’d say even sober.
@paigeanguish6216 Well I'm sorry you had to go through that. I agree there's probably underlying mental disorders but the fact that her Mom and sister buy into it is a little crazy. You were young and your father is obviously a huge role model as you grow up but these are not in that role.
This is exactly what I was thinking. A lot of what the mom says sounds like paranoid ramblings and according to the cop they've tried getting her help multiple times. The reality is that her daughter is a mentally ill and paranoid junkie and he's doing everything he can to help her and protect their kids and her mom can't see it. Do you think he got that idea from New Zealander singer Stan Walker: 🎶 There's a little black box, yeah Somewhere in the ocean Holding all the truth about us 🎶
Absolutely!! Even if he was drugging her he wouldn’t need to hide a box in the woods and have it on a string to pull in. It makes no sense because he’s tried to get her help but she won’t take it at all because she is happy taking the drugs. Unless someone wants to stop they won’t stop.
@@Simply_survivingThere is nothing in this video to suggest any of it is true. The entire family is crazy, they believe the man has a black box in the woods that he is drugging her with. They just want something on him to be able to take the kids away from him. It is quite obvious.
@@justintime753 Oh I don't dispute that after seeing the mother and sister together. I think the father is just doing his best within the eyes of the law. You really have no idea how hard it is to get help for or get rid of a drug abusing spouse.
Sometimes I get sad about being single, but then I see videos like this. The sad thing is more often than not, the man is the one who comes out losing this. Props to these cops for actually listening.
The mom and sister need to stop blaming everyone except the one who is at fault. Plain and simple. Drug addicts don't need a vehicle to get to their drug of choice. They need to take the crazy lady to live with them. If they think they can fix her and its all his fault, they need to take care of her.
I think the drug use is a response to mental health problems. Mom and sister have it too. Mom gets delusional, and sister/daughter can't produce the video she claims she has - because it doesn't really exist.
"he just told me about the addiction.." "like a year and a half ago" bro what? you had 12 - 18 months to do something and you have done nothing,, shut up.
Exactly! Seems like many family members, they are in denial about her real problems only listening to the wife’s delusional exaggerations and then adding to it. “He must be secretly drugging her with his black box in the woods, he watches porn all the time every night...” hmm how would they know that? Because the daughter told them that to make him look bad and deflect her faults, perhaps? If they took her in for awhile they might realize there really is two sides to every story...
Lots of hearsay from mama and sister. The cops knew it too. Why can’t mom and/or sis just take her when she needs things from the store? If the husband has cameras set up all through the house, that’s a man who is concerned for his and his children’s safety. The trauma those children are experiencing is extremely concerning.
I was thinking the exact same thing lol... in one breath he's got a box out back full of drugs that he's knocking her out to inject, in the next she doesn't know what goes on there. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree! No judge or magistrate will entertain all those crazy accusations. All they will accomplish is making themselves look unhinged...
@@owlflame ugh... The wife is responsible for her life and choices, yet all the mom and sister do is spin some weird twisted tale where the husband is responsible for anything and everything wrong.

I don't think people can be helped when they're a grown adult with a mouth full of grass mumbling "I don't want to spit the grass out" while being handled by two officers. Reopen the asylums. Protect everyone else who does not behave like this. Perhaps only then at that point can we safely turn our attention to trying to fix the unfixable.
The only help that's suitable is an asylum. Maybe he is partially responsible, maybe he enabled her drug addictions earlier after her surgery or whatsever it was because he still loved her. But she has some very serious issues that go well beyond simple drug use. ......... The only thing that's interesting is the grandmother having the kids; but then it may be more for their protection from the nutcase mother than anything.
"what happens if I don't [give the kids back]?" "you go to jail" "I don't go to jail, I go to court" "no, you go to jail" "don't take his side" That says everything about the situation. Just because you think you're in the right doesn't mean you are. What a crazy family. If I was dad I'd get my divorce, file for full custody, get a restraining order on the whole family, and move as far away as possible and tell none of them where.
@@Flowervibes101 You can file a restraining order on her entire family, I have done so on my ex's family. 44 years later it's still valid on the ones still living. This family is just as mental as the one I dealt with. "He has a box in the woods on a leash, he's injecting her".
Idk dude. I've been around lots of people like this. There's a lot of truth to wha they say. I believe the mom. She said she has video of him pulling a box out the woods and him hitting her. She wouldn’t even spit the grass out of her mouth. She wanted them to do for her what she could easily and more safely do for herself. That’s a prime example of what the husband has likely been dealing with. When it comes to trying to help her.
@MusicIsKindaDope Dude most drug addicts don't have cars. How do THEY all get their drugs? 🤨 Clearly this dude is the St. Nick of dopefiends, he gets in his sleigh and delivers drugs to all the addicts that can't drive every night because clearly everything is his fault. 😂😂😂

The mom? is complaining that the 7 year old hasn’t been in school in a month, while saying that the kids live with her. Then, mom/grandma is responsible for sending the child to school. The daughter is crazy and no one needs to be around her, especially when she’s raging.
@@frigid4realbut you missed the reality of it. If they been with her for a month then that’s more then enough time to put them in school and if you listened closely the mother said the kids were her ex meaning that guy is a step father and step fathers don’t have the damn right to do anything with/for their partners children
Mental illness and addiction are what brought her to this. She's probably not taking her psych meds and has addiction issues to boot, recipe for disaster.
I can’t believe I talk to my toddler the way the cop talked to her 😂. “Spit the grass out. That’s disgusting.” Her (mouth full of grass) “I don’t wanna” 😂😂😂
As a parent of an addict who passed away this year I can look it at this through a double lens. Yes a spouse or BF will hide addiction. Yes a spouse or bf will also feed an addiction for control. However It seems mom is more interested in placing blame on someone for the daughters addiction. She will be forced one day to admit to herself that her daughter is to blame for her addiction and the outcome of such. Addicts are very good manipulators one thing I have a very hard time getting most family members to understand.

I was dying! However, the dang officer then starts having a 5-year-old exchange with her. He keeps telling her to spit it out, and she keeps saying no. It was hilarious but also ridiculous and did not need to happen. He could/should have just said it once and then done what they ended up doing anyway...put her into the cruiser w/o her spitting it out. No need to get into childish behavior with her.
I love their logic that he's trying to manipulate and control her, but part of their "evidence" of that is that he didn't get legal guardianship over her.
If he has custody he's responsible for them. If she has them against his will he's supposed to report them as kidnapped. The school only knows that they aren't coming and that he is the parent. Generally they would have investigated and told him he needs to take steps. Both parents if they both have custody. If the kids just keep my showing up, yes they may press charges. You can't just say "well I don't have them, grandma took them" or everyone who didn't want to send their kids to school would just use that. They can't charge grandma if she doesn't have custody over them. But if he goes to court and presents evidence of what's going on they will probably dismiss the case. If he does something to resolve it. Which is usually going to court and getting a writ to get your kids back since you have to legal custody.

Her madness is obviously hereditary.
Addicts lie ALL THE TIME. Yet, the mom thinks her addict daughter is a complete saint.
People lie all the time. And the mother very openly admitted that her daughter has multiple problems. But like any parent with a child they love, it's easier for her to assign responsibility and guilt to someone else. Partially because admitting her daughter is in the wrong means that she might have failed as a parent.

The mom and sister need to stop blaming everyone except the one who is at fault. Plain and simple. Drug addicts don't need a vehicle to get to their drug of choice. They need to take the crazy lady to live with them. If they think they can fix her and its all his fault, they need to take care of her.

He is NOT obligated to tell her family ANYTHING! Mom and Sister are enablers.
Dude married into the wrong family. They're all nuts, and the wife is the worst one. Her family left in such a hurry that they left their foil hats at home.
Sister is in total denial. Blaming everyone else besides her own sister.

Whole family sounds nutz!!!
The sister was saying so much s*** if that cop wasn't hip that you was Psycho people could have been put in jail for s*** like she was saying I don't know what he's doing but he loves a p*** and little black box in the woods

- my 4 year old daughter.
The mother should have been arrested for false allegations and child neglect because she clearly neglected her stupid child
Her stupid child is an adult.
Stupid child?
the mother- Its everyone elses fault- no wonder she ended up this way.
"stupid child"? That's not very nice of you. The mere fact it's a minor child should tell you they are a victim of this demon possessed Banshee like the husband is.
How do you know it’s false?
11:55 OMG now I've heard it all. "He's got a little black box in the woods that he keeps on a leash, and he pulls it out at night..." sounds like she's been watching too many Stephen King movies.
If there was any truth to that...🙄...you'd think the family would go get the box or at least send the cops there ,to have as evidence. ESPECIALLY, if they truly believe he was trying to un live her.
Makes no sense!!
Yep, when Mom said that, I thought, the daughter isn't the only one who's crazy.
I wonder if the mom knows about the cameras he keeps putting up, which would catch him doing this stuff, which the crazy keeps pulling down...
It's definitely giving "it puts the lotion on it's skin" vibes
Box on a leash?
Hey mom, if he's such a monster to her, why did you arrange for him to care for her while you took their kids? Why not the other way around? If he's controlling and drugging her, why are you angry that he didn't pursue guardianship of her, where he would have had absolute control? You're not making sense. Stop the denial about your daughter, because it's not helping anyone.
Because all the mom cares about is getting the house and the kids. They have probably been tormenting this guy to see if he would act out.
your Wrong!!!!, The mom is trying her best to care for the kids so stop telling people how to act and care for them kids and family you really want him to have the kids and kill them cause that's what you're saying.

Riiiiiight!
AF!
Absolutely your going to jail.
I love their logic that he's trying to manipulate and control her, but part of their "evidence" of that is that he didn't get legal guardianship over her.
So he’s facing charges of educational neglect for not having the 7yo in school… but he can’t because the grandma took the kids? 🤦🏻♀️
American legal system moment
And unless whoever has the kids has legal rights, they can't enroll them in school.
@@justforever96why can’t the grandmother get the dang kid to school!?!? That’s what should be occurring but the grandmother is doing it on purpose to get the man in trouble! Gonna backfire on her vindictive evil butt!
