@@QuarterFlips I have also tried this with success. Tip, if you don't have luck the first time (eBay agent says they can't help), wait a week and try again. Sometimes it depends of who takes the call and if they had their morning coffee or not.
You used to be able to go through "eBay for business" on Facebook and they would remove feedback for you pretty fast, I did it once or twice. However not to long ago eBay ended that program (probably to save money on salaries) so now you have to go through regular customer service channels.
That feedback issue is very frustrating. I've pretty much stopped listing region 2 dvds because I think too many people are ordering from their phones where all the details you add get kind of lost or hard to notice...and, most people are pretty stupid. At least it was Ebay where you have a chance to contact the buyer, on Amazon, someone mistook me for another seller and left a negative and you can no longer contact the buyer! Amazon really sucks.
eBay fees have killed selling on the platform for me. Items under $30 after fees ands shipping feel like breaking even or maybe losing money. Facebook market place is useless. Man, we need something better.
I got negative feedback from a buyer because I shipped a product a day later than the ebay deadline. I gave the buyer a heads up that I was running behind, I apologized, and then a month later I got the feedback. Look, I know I was in the wrong, but, in my defense MY MOTHER LITERALLY FELL AND BROKE HER HIP AND HAD JUST TEMPORARILY MOVED IN WITH US. His feed back was along the lines of "This buyer has 100% positive feedback...but not anymore lol" (I added the lol but you get the vibe) I asked if he could edit it, after explaining what was going on and he said no. I offered a partial refund he said no. I offered a full refund and he could keep the product and he said no. I offered the full refund AND a coupon and he said no. TBH I can't remember if I tried going through the ebay channels to dispute, but also there is only so much time in life yeah know. Now it's been over a year so it's no longer showing up which is good. People can be bad sometimes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
People are A'Holes with Feedback. I thought I was going to love my storage shed. It is a 10x40. Problem was it was like a 100 degrees all summer and freezing to far this winter. SO I have not been able to do much work inside. That has been my biggest disappointment,
I haven’t been around much, but I wanted to stop in and wish you & Michaelann a Happy New Year! Wishing you guys all the best in ‘25!!
Aw! Right back atcha' Chris. So good to hear from you!!
You can contact Ebay customer service through your seller portal to dispute the negative feedback. I've only had to do it once and was successful.
I think I'm going to try this. Thanks!

I'm thinking I don't sell enough of them to make it worth the hassle.

We do need something better.

So lame. People can really be awful.

The only thing mine has going for it in that regard is that it's indoors and climate controlled. The outdoor units around here are awful.
