Looking back at Doffys last turn with the idea of keeping the Makino and Sanji options open until the very end the Shanks should have take the first three hits on Doffys last turn. The Doffy either goes 14 with his last Weevil which the Shanks can get out of just using the cards at the start of the turn or more likely, Doffy goes 9 with Weevil leaving 5 don up with Leader still to swing to give him the option of doing the Kaya/Law, bluffing a Boa blocker or going for game with a 10 don swing. Either way Shanks doesn’t die and he can even save the Makino for the next turn as long as he gets 1k counter from his 3 life. Ultimately I think he did great all things considering.

The turn that the Doffy player swung 6 at lead with moria (11:15) They could of token the hit, as they had leader ability, a red hawk, and 0 cost. Allowing the Shanks player to have the flexibility to keep the 2k Sanji and the Makino in the case of the Doffy player playing a blocker.

Around 9min I believe the shanks used leader + 2k on the weevil attack, which is why he did red hawk +1k on the leader swing

I think shanks wins by 1k if he holds 1 makino instead of dragon. It'd be 7k 9k 10k swings from nami Luffy shanks.

I don't know why he used the makino that early, maybe he thought that the doofy player will establish a boa blocker
