I luv chili with sweet potatoes or butternut squash. I steam the cubes in the microwave until very soft, then dump them into the cooked chili and simmer 15 minutes so the sweet potatoes or squash practically dissolve. It's awesome.
Just a reminder, if you keep scallions or green onions forever, make sure you change that water every few days. It really starts to stink if you don’t.
I plant mine in soil after they have rooted. So many veg's can be reborn using the stalk( cut an inch or more) celery lettuce, cabbage it's so also potatoes from potatoes reg or sweet potatoes 👍

I was looking at these pans too. They are beautiful! Best to use non-scratch utensils, but do they scratch easily if someone uses a metal utensil? I had some ceramic coated “green” pans but they scratched so easily, so have been using stainless steel, but nonstick would be great! Recipes look awesome! Thanks for sharing ❤️
I just bought a small planter from dollar tree and some soil from dollar tree and keep my green onions on my counter. It works the same as the water but I don't have to do anything to them at all, just toss the occasional water on them.

I made the Garlic Shrimp and Rice meal yesterday and it was super yummy. I would highly recommend it. Will definitely put it into our rotation and make it again. Thanks for the great recipe and super easy One Pot Meals.
The one thing I like about your cooking is to use powder ingredient as substitute in place of fresh, which I don't have all time. 🙏 O I like your new cookware.

@@MealsWithMaria I have a policy that I don't buy dishes or pots or pans made in China. I don't trust the finishes because of the chemicals they may contain. Years ago when the formaldehyde problem was brought to light, one of the news magazine shows did a piece about flooring from China. The sales rep at the firm said the flooring didn't contain formaldehyde. Later in a candid interview the rep said the flooring contained it. So, I'm very skeptical about anything made in China for food usage.

As usual, YOU ROCKED IT with these FAB, EASY AND YUMMY recipes. I really want to try the Sweet Potato Turkey Chili (really love regular chili). Never had this type of chili, so am really looking forward to trying it and the one pot Tortellini. I said it before, I cook just for myself, but I LOOOOVE left overs and I like to share with my friends. I don't mean to be critical, but it looks like there was still some sauce in the jars. If a recipe calls for 2 or 3 cups of water, why not add part and then use the remaining water to get the rest of the sauce out of the jar?

To trim the budget, you can replace the shrimp with hearts of palm cut into medallions. They are a third of the cost.
