Dude I use earnie ball strings good for my guitars
Hes wrong guys, change one string at a time, this keeps tension on the guitar so your truss rod doesnt move, your tailpiece doesnt move or fall off................youre welcome!
Either one works.
@@Coleo432 Yeah well spreadin peanut butter all over the body of a guitar doesnt hurt anything either, but you just dont do it
@@leeknievel748 I don't exactly think those actions are comparable, but to each their own.
He went out of his way to try and help us, no need to be so rude
Oh go sit in a closet!@@undriftedpop788
Another tutorial lacking clarity on measuring slack...
Personally I’ll pull the string through the machine head as if it’s strung normally, I’ll grab the string at the machine head and pull it back until my fingers are at whatever half the space between the E string and the nut is. Then I wind the string once clockwise for the low strings and once counterclockwise for the high strings. Then tune up as usual. That way the string won’t slip & it’ll essentially be trapped amongst itself and will stay in tune a little better.
This isn’t the way he does it in the video I don’t think, but…
Did I explain that well??
@@luvdev thank you for the explainer... I have a method I'm happy with, I just came here for a quick explainer as I was working on a guitar with a funky neck gauge.
@@altguitardemos6608 ahh I see.
use the next tuner peg as a guide, bend round it.
its about 2 fingers
You do NOT know how to restring a guitar.
