Thank you Bob, your joyful demo had me smiling and laughing!! Your joy and playfulness is infectious and inspired me. Why have I only now "discovered" you?? Blessings and I'm watching you hey!! Warm regards from South Africa
Hey Bob. I hope you are going well dispute this pandemic. Thank you for sharing these amazing tips. I just wanted to ask if there is a vídeo of how you did the lack and white painting on your left @4:12 (the flowers on a tablet and a chair)? Take care. A huge fan from Cape Verde 🇨🇻(west África)
This didn't work with my paints, so i bought Holbein paints, just tried it and still didn't work.. now cool bubbles/shapes, just like water on the paper. After the gesso dried, i put some paint down, tried the alcohol (91%) then tried again as it dried just a bit.. still nothing. What am i doing wrong i wonder.
For those of us who can't pack up and go to Mexico, maybe we could form a Facebook or other group to share our paintings and results. Anybody interested?

Bob, when you use gesso, why don't you use other paper instead of watercolorpaper(is rather expensive)?
Great! Thanks Bob!

Thank you, I never knew this!!
Oh, i thought it was going to be a video of some drunk guy attempting to paint and inadvertently creating marvelous fascinating paint finishes ..😅
Would 80 proof vodka work as well?
Oh! That is an AHMAAAZING area in México ❣️
Uh can I come down to visit this artist community?? Im ready to pick up the brush and enjoy the tribe!

Sounds like a great idea are you on Facebook or Instagram?
Fun!
Yes!
Does the painting need to be sealed, to keep the finished art?
YES. The alcohohol breaks down the acrylic bond to get that effect.
thanks for this video. Do you stretch you water colour paper first?
Hi! Would u know if I could paint over this effect?
Now I need a bottle of alcohol for my studio.
Does vodka works too?
Does this only work with acrylic or can it work with oil?
😃😃😃
❤️😀
