The setter and liberos are also a key to the game. If it didn't do well the hitters needs to double thier works which is tiring. I feel bad for KYK as usual she's doing all around
There were only 2 fully functioning players, #1 Lee Soyoung and #10 Kim. Both worked so hard defensively and offensively to save the team. Kim particularly multitasked as a setter as well. In fact, she sets better than the other 2 setters. Other players didn't run and chase the ball at all 🤦♀️ Blockers were too slow to react causing gap for the Italians to hit through the block. We are halfway through the vnl but all the players still couldn't match with each other.
Right?! So young is doing such a great job. I don’t understand where the “LJY should be on” comments are coming from. Do these people even know what positions are being played? We already got Kim and Soyoung playing EFFICIENTLY in their positions. So which one is supposed to get off court and be replaced by the “almighty LJY”? Soyoung is a top scorer ffs. Granted her attack efficiency is no better than Kim’s, but she’s still getting the points converted.
As far as I’m concerned the only real position vacated by the twins is the setter position. But even then, there are ways to work around that by having great passing. Which is what the Koreans were essentially lacking to begin with. You can practically feel the frustration from Lavarini every time he called timeout and had to reiterate that they need to receive and give a high pass to give the setter more time since they are not as quick as their “predecessor”. Hye Seom was kind of frustrating to watch. For someone who’s played for so long I wish she was more consistent. But I guess she gets a pass since it wasn’t that long since she had surgery on her wrists. Hopefully she’ll get better if she ends up being on the team for OG.
Also Set 1 was practically gifted to the Italians at the end when Korea should’ve taken it if they hadn’t choked.
Also props Kim for taking all the instructions from Lavarini AND executing them. She also converted heaps of the terrible sets with her smart tips. Her defending was also top notch 👏
KOREA has a lot of players lacking here. HEE JIN, THE OTHER MB, KANG SOHYE, and etc.

@@jensmith9111 Feel like she's just not fated for NT, the last time she was part of the team for Olympic Qualifications 2019, she got hyperventilation symptoms and was sent back to Korea (think it was said to be due to the long flight travel? I thought maybe anxiety but idk)

@@amedeopizzicato No, gli Usa ci fanno il culo senza battere ciglio. Non è una squadra al livello dell'Italia maggiore, ma QUESTA Italia se la mangia con un bel piatto di fave e un buon Chianti. Quelle che possiamo battere sono la Germania, la Repubblica Dominicana, la Thailandia, il Canada e, con molto sudore e una buona dose di culo, magari anche Olanda e Belgio. La Cina credo sia da escludere perché, a quanto ne so, dalla prossima settimana calerà gli assi.

@@Diana-wk9px A parte Olanda e Belgio, per battere le quali servirebbe, come ho detto, una bella botta di culo, le altre non mi sembrano più temibili della Corea, che abbiamo battuto 3-1 giusto qualche ora fa. Diciamo che 4 vittorie sono altamente probabili, le altre due (Olanda e Belgio) improbabili ma non impossibili. Sarebbe possibile battere anche questa Cina, ma il 9 arrivano i pezzi da novanta e ovviamente quella Cina, con questa Italia, è impossibile batterla.
배구의 핵심인 주전세터가 사라진 상황에서 손발도 맞추지 못하고 신인세터가 나간 상황에서 2진이라고 승리한다는 자체가 욕심임. 중계에서 언급못한 가장큰 문제가 현재 리베로는 안됨(특정선수 비난이 아님). 진짜로 김혜란선수가 들어가야됨. 출산으로 예전같이 신들린 수비를 보여줄지는 모르겠지만 그래도 김혜란 선수가 빠지면 올림픽에서 수비감당이 안될거를 분명히 예견해봅니다. 장신세터 사라지고 김연경,황현주.김혜란 선수자리를 이을 선수가 없어서 여자배구가 비인기종목일때부터 팬이었던 사람으로 안타까운 마음임....

염혜선은 일단 공의 흐름을 못 따라감 김다인은 그래도 몸이 빨라서 어떻게든 올리는데 오늘 경기도 질 수 있음 라바리니가 이기고 싶었음 선수교체를 저렇게 많이 할리가 없음 그냥 실험해보는거지 올림픽 위해서 박은진 그리고 잘하더라 높이가 조금 아쉽긴한데 그래도 우리 센터들중에 제일 빠름 서브도 괜찮고 이소영이랑 김연경은 항상 잘하니까 근데 진짜 김연경한테 올라오는 공들이 너무 안좋더라 때릴수가 없게 주니까.. 확실히 센터를 이용해야됨 점수가 안나더라도 상대 블로커들이 가운데를 배제하고 윙스파이커쪽으로 바로 들어감 우리가 그렇게 빠르거나 높지도 않은데 장신 블록 두명한테 꾸준히 마크당하면 막힐 수 밖에 없음 그리고 한다혜가 오지영보다 훨씬 안정적임 한다혜 좀 많이 써줬으면 아직 져도 뭐라할 필요없음 아직 맞춰가는 과정이라 괜찮아 수고했어요 우리 대표팀
조금씩 경기력이 올라가는걸 볼 수 있었습니다. 이번 대회에서 가장 잘한 경기였습니다

S. Korea is playing "bad" because the lack of experience of the young players, not because of the twins, because they (the team) played without the twins in the 2017 World Grand Prix, and the played really good, they lost just 2 or 3 matches in the competition

@@jeffrykim20 Yeum Hyeseon is a good setter, obviously not as good as Dayeong, because Hyeseon is shorter and doesn't have a high block, and she is not as fast as Dayeong too

Kim and soyoung were tired from covering the rest of them. Soyoung was so tired that her game start messed up.

Korea needs no twins or lees, because KYK, LSY and Kang So Hwi do well, we need young players Jeong Ji yun, Kim Da-in, park Eun Jin, Lee Da-yeon (mid blocker) etc to grow up fast!

China, Serbia and Italy has the luxury to rest their respective Aces and win some games due to their young
talents/deep bench, but for SK NT they don't have that yet. It's not that we condone what the twins have done in the past
(10yrs ago according to news/articles), the point we're trying to convey to all avid KYK fans and twins haters out there is that your beloved KYK NEEDS ALOT OF HELP especially at this point of her career. Twins are young and at their prime, they are both starters at their respective positions, that tells a lot about their talents/skills. That's why some of us are asking for the twins, "what if" they we're to play for SK NT right now, maybe the results are way better, surely chances of winning highly increased with them in the line-up, especially that some of other countries NT Aces are not playing/resting. Don't forget that big help from the twins makes the SK NT qualified for this year's Olympics, LJY awarded as the best spiker/top scorer in that Qualification Tournament. Haters, admit the fact that SK NT needs help from the twins to win games right now and in the future. Peace!
다른 나라 선수들이 큰키에도 수비며 공격 다 좋은편들이 힘든것 같고 김연경선수가 정점을 찍고 내려오는거 같아서 여자배구는 이제 대안이 없는것 같아요. 그래도 인성 좋고 열심히 해주면 응원합니다. 망국같은팀과 선수들만 아니면...
