I bought some led curtain lights about 3 years ago…I’m in the US. They are approximately 10 foot length and 13 feet across. Just a beautiful warm white has lots of settings…no apps or setting up with a phone. They were regularly $40 and I got them for $20. The strings are clear which I love. I have never turned them off in 3 years. They are hung in my RV shop. I have tried to find another pair to hang at the other end of my shop to match. We converted the shop into a lounge area to hang out and work on projects. I didn’t want all the colors just nice lighting to leave up year round. Personally I can’t see spending that much on lights. I am a senior on a tight budget and the inflation is horrible for many. Even the younger generation can’t afford housing much less luxury lighting, but hey it is pretty to look at.
Thanks for the video. I bought 4 curtains this year to cover my windows which have a span of 5 meters, and it looks awesome, but there are some disadvantages. Where your curtains keeps everything perfectly in perspective, it has broken mine a bit. I thought I’d give you the heads up before you are buying more to cover your whole house , and be a bit disappointed in the end. For example if I choose the reindeer effect (available on the store) it is way too big to show fully on the curtains if I leave it on “fitting”, I can choose “adjust”, but than the reindeer looks a bit stretched, and to get it perfect I would have to press “resize”, but then it only shows the perfect reindeer on the two middle curtains, and I wanted them to go across the window fully, hence I bought four. So I chose the slightly stretched reindeer, not ideal, but still good. Now my house is far from standard, my living room is where most people have their bedroom, so I have them fitted on the inside of my house. The length of the cable gave me a slight headache, since Twinkly states that you should always keep the power cable towards the left side. So what I did was bring up two extension blocks to the top of my window, one on each side, and connected the first two like twinkly says: with the power cord to the left, and the other two also with the power cable to the left, but once they were in place, I redirected the power cord to the right side of my window, because else the power cord would be too short. Also which is not standard, is that my windows are from the ceiling to the ground completely over 5 meters, so the length of each single string is too short, it only stretches to slightly over the half of my window, so maybe I need to buy 4 more, to get my windows fully covered, and it might help the perspective issue as well, but I have to think for a solution for my power cords first. Prices over here in the Netherlands are slightly under £98 now, and I bought them cheaper when the vendor had a special discount. Also bought two strings for my Christmas tree, and it looks awesome. Despite the slight disadvantages, I’m in love with these lights, and they keep adding new effects each special holiday. Oh and when you’re looking for an awesome effect, you should download the “big fireworks” and the “pyrotechnics” effects from the store and you’ll be amazed. Also funny to combine it with the “countdown” effect on New Year’s Eve followed by your own custom made effect with sparkles and your own text. Possibilities are endless with these lights. I wish you happy holidays from across the big pond that is in between our countries, and have fun with your lights👍🏼
My question is for multicolour plus white edition lights, how are they different from multicolour ones? I just bought a box of icicle twinkly lights from local store, then I looked up their website and they have multicolour +white edition. Multicolour lights are exactly the same as yours, in the app exact same colour scheme and choices comes up. It has whites that you can adjust as well. So I don’t understand how is this one multicolour+white edition different from just multicolour ones? I’ve been searching for this answer but can’t find any. Perhaps now that you own this one can you please let us know what is the difference, if there is any? Thank you 🙏
I don’t think there is a difference between them.. there are certainly lights that are white colours only but generally RGB lights can do white colours too
The RGB only model just have a red, green, and blue led within each light. The RGBW has a dedicated white led as well, that is more of a warm white similar to the color of older white christmas lights. The white you can do with the RGB version is more of a bright white similar to newer car headlights.@@kiphakes

Anyone have issues connecting these to their WiFi network??
No, I’ve generally found the WiFi connectivity to be very good, even down the end of my garden. I’d contact support if you’re struggling
