Duh.. we already know how to delete a message on our device, but how do u delete it from there device? This trick only erases messages from our side.
This used to work on both sides until Facebook changed their interface.

Check the previous comments. The feature has been disabled.
This all pertains to a phone, not my computer! To delete a message on a computer find the three dots the side of your message and click on it. You’ll have choices. Click on “Remove” and you can delete it from everybody.
It only says remove for me and when I press remove and it only removes for me because it says remove for you
Not true it will only be deleted in the sender’s end but not on the receiver’s end. I Tried it. It doesn’t work

I have a question. I sent this one email which I immediately wanted to take back. Next thing I know she had unfriended me. But all the messages that I had sent her disappeared. Sometimes if you wait for more than 10 minutes, it’s disabled
But you can see if the message has been unsend by the person?

Just remember that everything you put on the internet may be there forever.
I tried doing that and it says that it will only delete on there and we’ll see what happens if they reply to it then that means that even if I deleted it they can see it

Just so you’re aware, this feature no longer works on Facebook, only Instagram.

Go into your Messages and swipe right. That will delete the conversation from your end but not theirs.

Try turning the device off and on, and then try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
