Very helpful, even in 2023. Thank you so much for sharing this. I followed the tutorial because I wanted to see if I could do it my self. I changed the colors and and sizes of the borders. I messed up towards the end with the shading, and it saved and had to start over, but it wasn't too bad. Thanks again. :)

Hey I really hope you reply! I watched your video it helped me a lot with creating a calendar for the coaches at my job! When I want to write something under a day how can I write multiple things in separate text boxes. Or hit enter without it going to a new box just to separate the events under one day? It all types as one paragraph.
If you need multiple cells per day, it would have to be designed with that in mind from the outset. If you just want multiple lines of text in a single cell, end each line by pressing Alt-Enter instead of just pressing Enter.
This calendar is great and saved me MUCH time on a project that I'm working on. One question, On the calendar that pulls data from a seperate page, is there a way to get the calendar to show two events in the cell (if I had two items with the same date on the source page)?
For the linked calendar, how do you list multiple events on the same date? For example, if Event 1 and Event 2 take place on 6/1/2020, how do you make it so the calendar for that date lists both events on calendar cell 6/1/2020? Thank you for your help!

I followed your directions to a T but at 15:34, when I change to april 2019, the 1 is on monday, tuesday through friday are blank, and saturday begins 2 onward. What am I doing wrong?

I've removed my "lazy" workaround posted previously and added the proper approach to addressing this (available in another tab in the document): * To change the day-of-week headings so that Monday is the first day of the week, modify row 3 in the video example, or row 4 in the linked example, so that the formula is =TEXT(COLUMN()+1,"DDDD") * In row 4 of the video example, or row 5 in the linked example, change =IF(WEEKDAY($A2)=COLUMN() to =IF(WEEKDAY($A2,2)=COLUMN() while keeping the remainder to the right of the string as is (in other words, instead of the WEEKDAY() function taking the default type parameter of 1 after $A2, we'll specify a type parameter of 2, telling WEEKDAY() that we want Monday to be day #1.

yes! this happens to me too when the 1st of the month lands on a Sunday. Any advice on how to correct this would be amazing!
the formular that he put for saturday, copy and paste that onto the first week monday to saturday. That should fix it

This was awesome!!! The only thing I had to differently was when I added my dates, I had to do =Column(B1) instead of just having ().
