Hey Misty! Thank you for making this video! It was super helpful. I am new to using google applications. I am not working on my specific week lesson plans in here and am having some formatting issues (text deleting when hitting enter, trying to wrap text). Can you share what your individual pages look like and formatting for them?
Yes thank you for your amazing hard work you such a great role model for all other youtubers when it comes to replaying on comments. Sorry for your time and thanks again.
can you (or have you already) explain how to create tabs for the calendars that then link each day to a specific lesson plan and go vice versa as well? My colleague has done a lot of that but I'd like to learn to do this myself. Hers also allows here to drag a plan that was for monday to tuesday and all the rest of the plans cascade accordingly (I hope you understand what I mean...she mentioned hyperlinks and some other type of fancy link that I cannot recall the name of). Thank you.
You know you could go back into Canva and get the hex code also. Just click on the color picker and pick a color from your image and it will display the hex code. Copy and paste into your Google sheets. Just an idea here.
This is probably a dumb question, but how do you add your calendar content with the number still up there? Do you have to create a different text box in the calendar boxes apart from the number in the top right corners? Not sure if I'm asking correctly... I'm finding that when I try to add my events and such, it deletes the number. I must be doing it wrong.
Hi, Taylor! Check out this website: spreadsheetpoint.com/new-line-in-same-cell-google-sheets/ You’ll want to move to another line in the same cell and it’s a different key depending on if you’re using windows or a Mac. Let me know if the link I gave you doesn’t work!
Exams and times and room , then match days invigilators can work write it down for you ; and create a weekly timetable for the invigilators and include plain one of all exams
Hi there! I LOVE your lesson plan and calendar guides! I'm trying to type things in the boxes (things like "start of school") but I'm having some trouble....any tips?
Monica Densmore it should allow you to double click in the cell and type. On a Mac, you can also press enter first and it should allow you to type in it. Let me know if that helps! I may need more details.
Misty Whitehead oops, I didn’t give enough details 😅. I typed all the numbers in and everything, but when I try to type anything else it won’t self correct to fit in the cell, it’ll just keep going and the word cuts off...I don’t want to have to resize everything if I can help it!
Hello i just want to ask what size is this i also try to find it in canva i used also canva to customize my wall cover for my calendar year but it will not work just like yours 🥺
Hi! This video was extremely helpful for me. I followed it step by step and I'm very happy with the result. I have some questions- 1. What do you do with the previous month's calendar? Is there a way to shrink the calendar so it doesn't take up so much space when you go to view the current month's calendar? Thanks
Hi! I would personally put the calendars on separate sheets or limit the months on one sheet to around 3 - that way, it doesn't end up being a lot of content on one sheet. Another option is to select that calendar and press Ctrl+X or Cmnd+X to cut it from the sheet and then you can paste it after the other months. Another options would be to select the columns associated with that month, right click, and choose "hide columns". However, this option would require that nothing else be in those columns because it would hide the entire column.
Thank you for uploading this it was very informative and love that it was so straight to the point!
You're welcome!
Life saver. Thanks so much for teaching. Pacing Guides.... Much easier now.
Awesome! I'm so glad!
I LOVE IT thank you so much - very easy and understandable!

Chynna Stevens I will make a video and post it. Subscribe so you’ll get notifications!
How did she select the boxes I have stayed 20 min just trying to do that!!
To select more than one box, you hold down either the command key (on a mac) or the control key (windows). Is this what you are talking about?

I like it, but do you have a video about how to make the lesson plans?
I don't. But it would just be a combination of merging cells and typing headers.
What template in canva are you using? Is that under Facebook cover?
Yes, it was a facebook cover.

Heyyy! What is your template category. I'm one of your new subscriber, your video is so informative. Goodluck!

Oh no, I just discovered the wrap text button and it’s working now! 😂😂😂
Monica Densmore sorry I didn’t respond! For some reason, I don’t always get notifications for comments 🤦🏻♀️ I’m glad you got it!

The image from Canva is 800px x 200px. I created it using the Facebook cover template.
Hi Misty, great video. What font did you use from canva?
“Amsterdam Three”
I’m here from TikTok FYI 😊✨😊
ThabiNyoni hi!

hi what is do you use for your banner
I made the banner on canva.com for free and inserted the image in the cells.
hi misty - it doesn't let me add writing in the square?
Are you talking about where the month is? That is actually a picture made from canva.com. You insert it into the space.
thank u so much
Happy to help
Thank you so much mam
Most welcome 😊
I wasn't lost until he said "Control + Zed" instead of "Control + Z"
Ah, yes, but I've found that "zed" helps to not confuse the sound of "z" with "c".
ColorZilla is a FANTASTIC Chrome add-on that will help you skip the step of having to go to Image Color Picker.
Thanks for the tip!
It was somewhat informative but the instructor went through the process too fast.
You did way to much work to accomplish something simple.
Thank you for noticing!
@@mistywhitehead9242 You don't want to know what I'm talking about?
@@glenn7721 I tend to take the complicated routes for accomplishing simple tasks. But I'm always interested in learning other ways.
don't like this
