I noticed the 80 seal is not as long as the century seal and will give more swept volume, couple that with a slightly shorter spring and you have a nice firing cycle, and use Delrin washers at each end of the spring will feel even better and prolong the life of the spring, job done. good to see a fellow fettler about his work ! thanks for sharing, alb phil.

Hi there again just watched the video as i also have one of these but in .22, it is a nice rifle to shoot but just like yours mine is low so might try the same trick, i think it lost a bit when i sorted out the rough spring end that looked like it had just been chopped. Thanks for the tip good video but i find the lighting just a little low not sure if its my lap top or the recording. Any way i got your idea and will give it a try. All best Graham.

Kawasaki ZX1000B Oil Cooler Banjo Bolt Washer Kit. Genuine OEM kits are tightly controlled dimensionally to International Standards so you can use them on the top hat precisely to space the piston to suit power. There's less control on the DIY shop copper washers. Its a balancing act though and a chrono is key to getting power back to exactly where it needs to be...we considered this mod as part of this video but as we risk going a smidge over the limit decided not to do it...rather show the mod as a glimpse part way through.

Hi there again, i have seen on forums that some people have sleeved these just like the LGV this the reduces the mass moving about inside, I just wondered if you had come across these parts or seen anybody doing this as i am at a loss as to where to get it, i also see that you have sold yours are you missing it. All the best Graham.

just a thought ,gun shops say they test and a lot provide a cert of performance , shot string , and power output..and you say this was like this when you purchased new ? and didn't comfirm till you chrono'd it.

Never known a gunshop to do that tbh...if they did I'd be asking for a lot of discount...say 20% off at least...as nearly new is second hand. They may have a demo rifle they played with but that should not be the brand spanker in the box for you. It was the loopy trajectory that confused me initially...then the chrono confirmed it. Have to say that as much as I like the Walthers...not had one that has been around 11.5fpe without a tickle.

@@ShootingOutdoorsChannel I was looking at different guns on the 'air gun center.com' website, they state they run 100+ rounds through new guns b4 sending out issuing a test cert stating results , pellet used along with life time warranty (parts n labour) as long as you own the gun, soon with annual service..I assumed this was somehow the norm..?
