    Nice video Shame you didn't make more as there is so much to this powerful tool. I've just got mine and your videos have been so helpful. Thank you 🙏

      Hey thanks I plan to do more Hapax videos I am working on other series currently but will continue in time. It just takes time, thank you!

    Wow, at first blush this arranging workflow looks WAY more effort than the Deluge workflow. What are your thoughts after getting used to it? Is it worth the learning investment?

    • @RonCavagnaro
      @RonCavagnaro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hmm theyre both different, deluge is more flexible but for standard arrangements hapax is kind of nice

    So how easy is in your opinion to let a pattern play out with a different external instrument? Is it as simple as just assigning the created pattern to a diffent midi/instrument track?

    • @RonCavagnaro
      @RonCavagnaro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes it is easy , more similar to the novation circuit style sequencing

      @@RonCavagnaro Tnanks for the reply, Is it possible to copy paste patterns into different instrumentions essentially doubling down patterns and also I would love to hear a drum fill into a new section with velocity mimicking a fade in, do you think this is possible?

    • @RonCavagnaro
      @RonCavagnaro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@lloydvallentine2 hey there thanks! Yes you can copy and paste in this way. You can do velocity fade in, i believe. Many videos to come i just am moving. Thanks!

    Can it cycle through patterns? Say I want track 1 to play the same pattern over and over, but track 2 to cycle through all 8 of its patterns one after the other, can this be programmed? Many thanks!

    • @RonCavagnaro
      @RonCavagnaro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, if you set it up that way. Watch the video it will show you how it works again. There is no cycling as in automatic

      @@RonCavagnaro thanks for the reply! I watched it again, and I get that you can specify what happens at the end of each pattern (i.e. turn the pattern off, repeat the pattern or play another pattern instead etc) but can I set patterns to either replay (in my previous example track 1) or move onto another either specified or random pattern (track 2) and then not have to keep making those changes at the end of each pattern? Kinda like set-and-forget. It’s for percussion lines where I need some constant elements, but some changing/evolving elements as well. Thanks!

    • @RonCavagnaro
      @RonCavagnaro  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dannybrazen you have to manually set everything.

      @@RonCavagnaro ah, that’s disappointing. I’ve been thinking about a move over to ableton live, where everything I mentioned is possible (you can specify what happens at the end of a clip; replay, mute, random/specified new clip etc) then I saw the hapax and thought it looked more fun than a whole new DAW (I’m currently in logic). Thanks for the heads up!

      @@dannybrazen we don't know what will happen next but yes you create sections and then define the song based on those.
