    Great video - thanks! I expect you know this by now, but the workflow can be simplified quite a bit. When saving, you only need to double tap the pad for the track/pattern - you don't need to select the track first . If you hold save you can single tap the pads to save into each of the slots you want, across multiple tracks if desired, it reverts you back to where you were when you release save. Also in the arranger screen, you don't have to hold a step pad and use the encoders to select a pattern - you can hold the pattern pad and then tap the arranger step for it to go into. You still have to press pad to set reps though, but if you hold pattern, press arranger pad, release pattern pad then you can do the reps with encoder 4 for the pad you just copied.

    So glad someone asked about this, as I am interested in getting the Oxi and was curious how the workflow was in creating a song. This helped me understand quite a bit, so thank you!

    THANK YOU SO MUCH. This was a great tutorial and helped me a lot. It’s too bad Oxi doesn’t clarify this workflow, so I appreciate you taking the time to create this video. Please keep up the great work 👌👍

    Not sure if you know this but if you record on obs you can set your iPad audio to be monitored and recorded via usb. Super convenient!

    Super straight forward and helpful video. I might be getting an OXI but was concerned about its ability (or mine) to compose songs on it and not just bleepy loopy stuff

    I hope they update it to add more song positions. 15 really isn’t enough to create a full track.

    • @krazywabbit
      @krazywabbit  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can save up to 10 songs. How that loads in terms of any breaks, I don’t know.

    • @AcidAlex
      @AcidAlex ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@krazywabbit I’m not talking about how many songs. I’m talking about song positions within one arrangement. 15 isn’t enough to complete a full track. They need to increase that if memory allows.

      @@AcidAlex understand. I ask if that is doable in a future upgrade

    • @krazywabbit
      @krazywabbit  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do think the Play offers more space in terms of longer song format with the 16 variations and up to 128 song patterns.

      @@krazywabbit I thought play was just a sample player, or can you use as a sequencer for other gear?

    Hi , can you play 2 notes at a time on sequencer ? Or you have to use chord mode?

    • @krazywabbit
      @krazywabbit  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There’s a mono, poly, chord, multitrack, matriceal and stochastic. Any track can be all the same or anyone. Depending one what you select, yes

    • @zebarzebra
      @zebarzebra 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@krazywabbitSo to clarify: Yes, you can. Just use Polymode and you can freely choose up to 8 Notes on the Oxi One.

  • @oledokka

    How do you find the workflow when creating in the Oxi vs Play?

    • @krazywabbit
      @krazywabbit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In terms of the context of this video, I think the Play offers more "room" to building out a song if you want that longer format.
      Let me know if that is the question you were asking or something else.

    Maybe try making something you can listen to instead of random garbage. It is really hard to tell what is going on because it's all random noise.

    • @krazywabbit
      @krazywabbit  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This wasn’t a tutorial on sound. Others were able to tell what was going on 🤷🏼‍♂️ the tone in which you approached will surely encourage me to continue making garbage. Thank you.

    • @davidgriffith3938
      @davidgriffith3938 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@krazywabbit You literally hit random notes, it's right there in the video. A tutorial that is supposed to show how the arranger will play different patterns is not very illuminating if you can't tell the difference between the patterns because they are all random notes. But do what you want.

    • @emotionwave

      Rude and unnecessary comment. I found it useful regardless.
