@@kodawari.official it is my pleasure to see such quality and such amazing craftsmanship that he showed. I am from US and had the pleasure to visit Japan for two weeks and you guys impress me a great deal with traditions and respect. Americans could learn a great deal from Japan !!!!!
It’s remarkable how Japan changed from a reputation for making cheap junk copies of all kinds of things, to making some of the finest and most coveted things in the world. Such pride in one’s work, and such attention to details is amazing. This guy is a pleasure to watch. I hope he has a son or daughter to whom he passes on his craft. I have a nice Japanese knife in my kitchen which cost maybe ten times what a decent kitchen knife from a department store would cost. What a fine instrument it is-worth every penny.
As a woodworker, I appreciate his abilities to shape the wood using only hand tools and his knowledge to complete a rice container. His clients probably don’t realize they have a functional master piece, a work of art in their possession!

From my observations the Japanese wants to retain their traditional making of rice containers, it's a slow n careful procedure to make one,but if use innovative modern machinery it only takes half the time to complete one, bless him peace cheers ❤

Loved this. I’ve been woodworking and carving for five years now, and have found good sharp steel and tools the foundation for success and Japanese culture has the best in the world.
My Father was a carpenter and helped build many large buildings. But he was the most at peace working on a small project of wood, just sitting there as this craftsman is lost in the work.
