Thank you. These are amazing cars. They were ahead of their time as these had all wheel disc brakes. The engineering was simple yet amazingly effective. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Typical example of someone buying new carbs and trying to run them straight out the box. Rarely are float levels set correctly let alone the idle settings etc No wonder the plugs were fouled
I actually went back and adjusted them and the valves the next day because they were way off. Even the engine case is leaking oil and I think it is because they did not align bore the crank journals after machining the face of each case half
Are you kidding me? This was just rebuilt? The engine is running rich as hell. It didn’t need new plugs. It needs the carbs adjusted and since it was just rebuilt you should have taken the pump sump off for metal bits.
I have since adjusted the carb and inspected everything on it. I do not know who rebuilt but I do not think they align bored the crank journals because it is leaking oil from the two halves of the engine block and I may have to remove the engine again
Very clear and enjoyable video, simple engineering!

Gotta love that 616 engine!
I have to do some more tune up stuff to it soon. They are simple yet effective. I love them

The plugs are fouled because it didn't have a lot of gas in it....really?
I meant to say it was getting to much gas. The carbs and valves were adjusted and that helped the excessive fueling issue.
