    after the repair of timing chain, what are the chances that the car would be running fine assuming that the work was done properly?

    • @operationoverhaul
      @operationoverhaul 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      If done properly, it should be running good with no issues. I will say that some of these will have the timing marks off and cause a crank/cam correlation code and they need to be like one or two teeth off of top dead center. Before removing anything, I would line up the crankshaft mark and see where the camshaft timing marks fall in relationship to one another.

      Once the bolt is off, you literally just pull it and it will slide off. These are not a press on or off balancer. If you are having issues getting your balancer off, it may have rust on it and that may what is causing it to stick on there.

Ran for 30 min sporadic up down shut off, wouldn't restart until 2hours so I took her too a spot it's a Camaro guy, he replace ignition coil, they drove it ran it good, when I got her let it runnnnn went for test myself died , at first I thought filter, /vacuum leak..but the guy did digging opti spark water pump was good btw..but why in a lti does a failed opti have the motor do that ( learning)

      The optispark controls a lot of stuff on these engines and they will make them go crazy if it does not receive the right signals or it fails and does not send the correct spark.

      If you do it exactly like in my video it will keep the mileage. You are basically keeping everything and just replacing the screen. This way you keep the mileage of the vehicle.

      @thegreatestkid1295 so into the oil pan basically. My best suggestion would be to get the longest magnet you can find and try and fish it out. If that does not work then drain the oil and try running the magnet through the drain plug and see if it is in there. The last resort, but best option, is oil pan removal.

    It may be different for a 2004. But I have a 2004 Toyota forerunner V6 4.0 L and I let mine sit overnight and then drained it and got between 5-5 1/2 quarts out of it! I did 2 drain and fills now I’m going to drop the pan to clean the magnets and replace the filter. I also got some extremely strong rare earth magnets from Amazon to replace the factory ones like really strong and they’re pretty cheap around $10 that I plan on putting in there. I always see everyone drain the transmission, put the plug back in take the bolts out and the pan has filled back up with fluid. What I’m planning on doing is draining it more than likely after letting it sit overnight putting the plug back in finger tight take all the 10 mm bolts out then take the plug back out and let any more that has accumulated drain out. Then take the pan down.

    • @operationoverhaul
      @operationoverhaul 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I like that idea of the earth magnets because they are super strong and will grab onto all of the debris. Plus the idea of letting it sit after draining is a good idea. It will always have run off and that will allow it to be caught back in the pan. Good tips.
